Pretty good, low cost laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although many are better, those are more expensive -- up to several times as much. I just wanted something to surf the web while my desktop was in use for more serious pursuits. This is NOT for gamers, multiple applications, etc., but it works well for my purposes. and maybe for yours.

Laptop for light use only
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's an ok laptop. My other Lenovo was not working anymore and I needed one to finish up a paper work for school and this laptop worked and did the job. Not really recommended for heavy duty storage and downloads.

Not bad...but not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a little slower than I would have expected. However for the price & the fact that it’s a first laptop for my 11yr old daughter, it will work.

It's A Laptop That Reflects Its Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the laptop for 150 dollars, and it really does act like a laptop that costs 150 dollars. It has minimal storage and can run programs at a mediocre speed. It's a laptop designed for basic use, so it can not handle gaming and other intensive programs. Web browsing can be done at a semi-decent speed. Office programs running at a semi-decent speed as well. Overall, it's a pretty mediocre device with Windows 10 running on it. Because of the reasons mentioned above, I don't know if I'd even recommend this device to be used the way its been sold. Out of the box, it really does run like a mediocre laptop, Now, if you're willing to tweak your device, like I have, and install Linux on it, the device goes from being mediocre to being somewhat usable. I have personally installed Fedora linux on it and it's made the device a lot more tolerable. It doesn't make the device super speedy or anything. It just makes it good enough to be somewhat useful. I don't think I can really say that this device will be useful to any particular person. If you're in the market for a laptop to use as an everyday device, I'd personally recommend that you ignore this device and move on to another laptop in its price range. For 150 dollars (or the original price of $250), one can definitely get a windows laptop or chromebook that can definitely run better than this laptop. If you're in the market for a device to fiddle around with or to use for a very specific minimal purpose, this laptop may be for you. Just make sure not to expect it to perform like a Macbook or anything like that.

Great for the price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want something simple, this is the laptop for you! Great for cruising the web and email. I got t his computer for my Mom, but she passed away before I even opened the box. Because the laptop is pretty straight forward, it was perfect for her. My computer illiterate brother is using it now, and it's perfect for him.

Good light-duty laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It won’t win any races, and I haven’t yet tried streaming any video, but it’s a good, inexpensive machine to do word processing, surfing, or managing the household budget. One big plus - I haven’t crashed it yet, and I’m pretty good at that.

Not Bad for the Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very inexpensive laptop. It's adequate for FB, email, some online games and most other apps I've tried. It seems to have memory issues. I'm always getting messages that too much memory is used and programs need to be closed. The laptop often has problems connecting to the wireless service. There's a troubleshooting function that fixes it, but it's annoying that I have to keep running it. My needs are very basic, so I decided to keep it. I'll use it until I'm ready to spend more money for something better.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for school but wanted something cheaper since we have a nice desktop. Entry level laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The laptop runs about as expected for the price. It is a solid laptop that runs relatively smoothly, but slowly, in comparison to other pricier laptops. It gets the job done and does basic tasks as expected.
