Real college student here with a double major and multiple extracurriculars. I needed a durable, trustworthy laptop that would fulfill my communicative, creative, and academic needs. Joy Systems, a Microsoft authorized refurbisher, answered my call and packaged me a fantastic laptop. The processing speed is fast and the hardware came in high quality condition. I highly recommend!

Better than I expected. The computer looks almost brand new. Close to no defects. Fan runs very smooth and quietly opposed to the other purchase I made. Haven’t had a problem yet and it’s been about a week of pushing nvidia geforce now and maximum output on it. HDMI is also great quality over to monitor. Overall great purchase!

Laptop worked, but the 2nd battery wasn't installed or replaced, so the life was an abysmal 2-4 hours. I returned it for a full refund. I know it's refurbished but I think the bar should be in the middle atleast.

Very sleek design, delivers as promised, good RAM to hold 2-3 accounts so works well for families, professionals, and kids on school Teams. Super happy with the purchase!

Refurbished computer came from Joy Systems. It shipped fast and was packaged well. No complaints on quality, seems like a new computer. Does not come with MS Office (most computers don’t these days), but I already have a license so no big deal. Happy with the purchase.

Just what I needed - a basic laptop with current software and hardware for personal use. Had the same unit for work and loved it.

The laptop arrived in good condition. Some keys are worn, but the battery life is still good (~4 hours) for an original 3-cell battery. Of course, buying a new 6-cell battery is a must for Thinkpads, so plan to do so if you purchase one of these. The T-470 is a sturdy, quality-built laptop, and I highly recommend this refurbished version if you want to save a little $$.

I've had this type of computer before and really liked it. Not all the functionality for the full price, but I got it refurbished so it makes for a good deal!

Joy Systems did a great job getting me my project so efficiently. It was supposed to take 3-4 days and it only took 1-2. The computer even though it is refurbished runs great, i’m an architecture student running a pretty big thesis project on Revit and it works really well. Definitely faster and a lot better than my old macbook pro.

Great Buy so far. Arrived in like new condition with setup instructions and contact information in case I need assistance. Customized settings myself. Kudos to JoySystems for offering such a great product.

I purchased this computer about a month ago and I love it! It has a very large clear screen, and I am really impressed with its battery life. Keyboard does take a little time to get used to.

Laptop is running okay, except for my sister who I bought it for was telling me that the refurbished product out of the box is saying there’s a “fan errror” for the cooling fan for the laptop when it boots up. Gonna have to take it back in to figure out what’s going on

It was easy to set up and its easy to use. I like the design and got it specifically for online schooling. So far so good.

Don’t buy this! I recently ordered this product and it came infested with viruses and malware I couldn’t get rid of. I would rate it lower if I could.

Laptop was delivered promptly. Packed very securely. Even though the computer was eight years old it appeared brand new. Set up was simple and straight forward. Excellent value for the money.
