I got this to upgrade with a touch screen. I used it for 5 mins and returned. Now reason being is I was going to carry this a lot. And by no means is this lite. I go by the carry with one had weight. The screen touch is a little slow but I am use to a tablet so that was fine. The hard drive is a good size for an internal but a little slow. Now you will only notice this if in a hurry for it to boot up. For the price this unit works great if just need a computer to do basic things.

This 2 in 1 14" system weighs just 3.75 lbs. and measures 0.8" thin. This is an entry level, light use 2 in 1 system. It uses Windows 10 Home 64-Bit as its operating system, which requires less than 2GB of RAM to run. This device has the latest WiFi capability, with 802.11AC connectivity. If your requirements fit this profile, this device is a good choice. lenovo

I bought this inexpensive 2-in-1 for those times when I want a quick read of email or a web search OR when I want to read an ebook in a relaxed envir. The form factor is a bit heavy and having the keyboard on the back side does not seem natural. (Maybe I should have opted for a tablet but wanted to try a 2in1). Also, this device is a bit slow to respond. I am not dissatisfied but certainly not wowed.

This is my fifth attempt at trying to get a computer with the right size screen so I can complete a writing project. This one fits the bill...but opening programs is a waiting game: Pentium "Gold"? It should do the job, however. Nice to have a Lenovo that's much easier to configure than a ThinkPad I had five years ago. Stick to simple enough tasks, and this IdeaPad should not disappoint.

    Poor LCD Monitor Quality

Had difficulty with reconciling the 2 in 1 style use with the poor imagery of the laptop/notebook. It excessively facets in streaming video and still images unless the lcd screen is almost 90 degrees upright. May be the grade of resolution. The image at any greater angle deteriorates to that of a color film negative.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo IdeaPad 2 in 1 14" Laptop. Be sure any programs you have installed are compatible with Windows 10 and the configuration of this device. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. lenovo

For the price I did not expect amazing but I also did not expect a slow laggy device! Touch screen has delays and the tablet mode is so laggy I don’t even use it. Maybe for a beginner it would be great but for someone advanced with computers this is not for me.

My first lenovo purchase with no regrets. I was impressed by the Harmin speaker. As a multitasker, it does run just a TAD slow but has done its job for a 4GB. It works well for a beginner laptop but will probably buy a lenovo with bigger memory for more advanced work.

not enough hard drive space or memory. Do not like the way it flips all the way over back on itself. Salesman was more interested in a sale than the customers true needs. Might be good for a casual user, but not for business needs. Would not recommend this style of pad for anyone.

I got this computer to be able to do some work from home which is all the internet explorer. It works ok for that however there is a noticeable lag with the touch screen. Especially on start up. If you’re a patient person then it’s a good laptop.

I don’t need a high tech computer because I really only use it for research papers and internet. If you buy it, just be aware that it is REALLY slow to open things and respond to commands.
