Regrettable Purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a pair of Lenovo - 15.6" Laptop - AMD A6-Series - 4GB Memory - 500GB Hard Drive - laptops as part of the Black Friday deals for various non-critical usages. I figured I could not go wrong for the less than $180 price tag. Yet, I did. One laptop has a screen so dark I think I am having a stroke. (Yes, it's at full brightness) Both have mediocre sound. I had closed one of the laptops for transportation (in a computer case) and when I reopened it to turn it on, the screen pulled apart. I had to snap it back together. I am currently battling to remove the McAffee bloatware without success. I am on the 3rd reboot. The performance is passable for anyone with the patience of a saint. I regret not spending a couple of dollars more for an HP. They have never let me down. My recommendation is that you wait till you can afford something better. I don't like to speak ill of anything, but these laptops are so far below expectations that it must be said.

Slow start

I like this setup a lot. I am still looking for a better sound driver, I get a little crackle with external speakers.

This laptop was so slow. I would have given 1 star but I didnt want to blame that strong without more conclusive data Lenovo for a horrible laptop or AMD for a horrible processor.
