Slow
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not too happy with this laptop. For the price, it is much slower than I expected. I keep thinking I'm going to have to have someone add more memory to speed things up as I get tired of waiting and/or constantly refreshing the page to try to get something to load.

Posted .This system should provide adequate speed with its AMD A6 processor and 4GB of RAM. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.

Terrible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Can't load games. Slow to respond. Number 1: battery sucks. 2 hrs. Unplugged, screen light goes very dim when unplugged. Would like to return.

Posted .Always confirm the compatibility of the games/software you are trying to load with the Windows 10 operating system on this device and the device configuration before loading. The battery life on this device is up to 3 hours, depending on the work that the device is performing. You can extend battery life, try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life. If your screen is dimming when it is unplugged, this is a function of the Power Management settings you are using. Go to the Control Panel and change your Power Management settings for what the screen does when unplugged. Change from dim to do nothing.

Posted .This is an entry level, light use system. It uses Windows 10 Home 64-Bit as its operating system, which requires less than 2GB of RAM to run. There is a 32GB solid state hard drive for quick boot up and quick loading of programs and files. This device has the latest WiFi capability, with 802.11AC connectivity. It comes with a free 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365, a $69.00 value. If your requirements fit this profile, this device is a good choice. With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.
