We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15 laptop. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. lenovo

I bought this for 180 on thanksgiving. after 3 4 months of use, it started giving the blue screen error. I believed it must have been updates issue. however after updates, it failed to boot up. It just gets into a loop of diagnosing your pc and then troubleshoot screen. It never goes to the windows login screen. This laptop did not even last a year.

We are sorry to hear you are having issues with your Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15 laptop. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the left side of the device, right near the HDMI port on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. If the problem persists after the factory reset, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. lenovo

We are sorry to hear that you had issues with initial setup of Windows 10. Windows Cortana offers audio instructions for setting up Windows for the first time. Here is a link to instructions for the initial setup of Windows 10:  https://www.zdnet.com/article/how-to-set-up-a-new-windows-10-pc-perfectly-in-one-hour-or-less/. This is a mid-range, light use system with its AMD A6-7310 processor. It is not meant for multi-tasking or demanding programs. It is good for Microsoft Office and light internet browsing. If this describes your computing needs, the IdeaPad 110-15 would be a good choice. Be sure any software you install on the device is compatible with Windows 10 and this specific device configuration. lenovo

I bought this laptop for my 5 year old daughter, so I was looking for something cheap she could learn on. The cheap part worked out, but it was so terribly slow that we ended up just giving her my wife's old one and buying my wife a new nice one. I do not recommend this laptop unless you are prepared to be frustrated.

Purchased this laptop for my daughter 5 months ago. Sending it in to Lenovo to be repaired because hard drive has failed. It started freezing while in apps, then would not load apps at all. Tried to do a complete reset of computer and it wouldn't go past 95% completion. Not likely to purchase a Lenovo product again.

This laptop could barely stay on one tab of the internet w/o freezing or taking a year and a day to load. It is absolutely the worst piece of tech I’ve owned. I’ve had 5 year old HP’s that move stronger and fast than this did on its first day & every day after that

With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP. lenovo

The keyboard on this laptop is set up with different dimensions, and found it difficult to hit the correct keys without looking at the keyboard constantly and stretching fingers to reach the enter key each time. I returned this laptop after using only once.

Great Laptop for the Price :)

So around this time last year I bought an HP laptop from Walmart mainly due to the fact that my older toshiba was literally fall apart and I decided not to repair it (especially since I order the wrong part). For those who claim that this laptop is slow, please provide examples. The HP that this Lenovo replaced had a 2.16 processor, this one is 2.0 and AMD not Intel. With that being said this laptop is just as fast if not faster than my former HP. The majority of my laptops have been AMD processors, that was the primary reason for getting this computer. I can run steam and origin without running into any problems and it runs the games I play rather well ( Though I'm only a causal PC gamer, if you play graphic intense games, I suggest looking elsewhere ) The only real con, is the battery life. It's awful, but I knew that before hand, so it wasn't really a deal breaker. The display is okay, not as bad as everyone claims, but not the best. I would also equally recommend buying this computer new. I got a certified version due to the price difference ( it was only a 12 dollar difference wish I would have paid the extra 12...off topic tho) For the price, this is an wonderful machine. If battery life is a deal breaker, then there is another higher end lenovo with an AMD processor that has a 2.7 processor and maybe about 5 hours of battery life. If you turn down the brightness of the screen you can also extend your battery life ( I also do the same thing with my phone...not a big deal ) Want a good laptop, for a budget-friendly price? Then this is your best bet :) Cheers!

Swapped in an SSD, runs Fedora 27 good for me. Only issue is the wifi is spotty, but that seems to be a regression in the kernel for this particular wifi chipset, but it does work well enough to browse. Performance of the A6 is pretty decent. Comes with DDR3 btw. -1 star because I broke a part of the plastic housing when separating the back of the laptop from the keyboard to replace the drive.
