You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.

Tried several times to link the printer and install Microsoft office but it was so slow that eventually it would freeze and have to re start and start the process again. I gave up so taking the laptop back.

Posted .This is an entry level, light use system. This device has the latest WiFi capability, with 802.11AC connectivity. If your requirements fit this profile, this device is a good choice. With regard to Microsoft Office, there is a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 included with the Windows 10 operating system. In order to keep the program active after the trial period, you will need to purchase a product key. You will not need to download any additional software. If you have installed other Microsoft Office software on top of what is already installed, this could be the reason for the slowness of the device.

IT RUNS WELL STAYS COOL DOES NOT GET HOT LIKE OTHER LAPTOPS I HAVE USED. YOU MIGHT WANT TO GET POWERED SPEAKERS FOR IT . With regard to learning your way around Windows 10, you may want to try YouTube.com (just type that address in your browser address window). There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.

Bought it during Black Friday, so I got a good price for it. Things seems to be working fine with no problem so far. She only uses it for basic computing, online browsing, online games, etc.

All I know she wanted a windows computer so she could play minecraft on it...she told me the chromebook's don't have it...anyways...I'll update my review after the holidays.

Keys are jittery

The speakers aren’t loud. You can’t even attempt to watch something without headphones. Also, the webpages sometimes started going up and down for a while as if I’m scrolling. It gets the job done though.

I wasn't expecting the best computer but something decent. I was using a chromebook that I purchased years ago so I figure it would at least be an upgrade. Setting up the computer I thought the speed would be great. New computers with nothing on them are fast. Right? WRONG! I read reviews of this computer and saw that it wasn't the fastest but not slow either. It took minutes to boot up the computer and even longer just to get on the internet. I finally figured out to start FRESH with a brand new install of Windows. Apparently Lenovo loads so much junk on their computers they are impossible. It took a few hours but I finally have a decent computer. However this shouldn't be the case. If you aren't prepared to look up and install a fresh system of Windows I would suggest something else

Posted .This is an entry level, light use system. It uses Windows 10 Home 64-Bit as its operating system, which requires less than 2GB of RAM to run. This device has the latest WiFi capability, with 802.11AC connectivity. If your requirements fit this profile, this device is a good choice. If you ever need to restore this device to factory Windows 10 settings, this system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the left side of the device, right near the power plug port on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files.
Good Laptop

That said, the wireless ac makes it work better over the same spec. HP laptop I also own with wireless N. It's a good basic laptop with a DVD drive, Video camera, and numeric keypad. Very usable low price laptop for the money I paid ( it was on sale). I would recommend this to anyone in need of a laptop, but not a lot of money to spend on one. It just works.
