Good for everyday work, but you need to perform these upgrades: 1) Upgrade your HDD to an SSD drive. 2) Upgrade the 4GB ram to an 8GB ram. Cons: 1) The keyboard has an unacceptable flaw. The right shift button is really a hit and miss because of its size!! 2) The case has another unacceptable flaw. To access these items: Battery, HDD or Ram: You have to remove the whole base!!! 3) There is a good space next to the optical drive that could have hosted an extra USB or two or a card reader easily, but there is none. It's a cheap $200 computer so do not expect a whole lot of it. If you're using it for every day stuff, it is a good bye. If you want to use for more than that, perform the upgrades I mentioned above, or get yourself a more expensive one.

Posted .This model is not user upgradable, the battery, HDD and the RAM are not user accessible. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.

(I dropped and broke it) seems to do exactly what she needs. Word processing, maintaining her website, watching YouTube and playing Minecraft. Price was right on Black Friday.

Awesome For The Price

Tried a few games like StarWars Battlefront and etc... and The laptop lags. But, I knew it wasn’t built for that when I purchased it. I will give it a A+ rating for what I use it for.

Good laptop for the Price

So far it has been great. Speed is good and it has a good storage space. Overall, for the money, its totally worth it. Would recommend it for all!

I've only used this laptop about 3 times and I can't say it's been the best experience. It's super slow...even just logging into the computer...I'm pretty sure I'll be returning this laptop

Posted .There is a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 included as part of the Windows 10 operating system. In order to keep the program active after the trial period, you will need to purchase a product key. You will not need to download any additional software. If you have installed another copy of Microsoft Office, this is probably the reason for the system slowing down. Uninstall the software you installed. Use the product key to activate the software already on the device as part of Windows 10. If you continue to have issues, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.
