I bought it because it had a large screen and I only planned to use this to cruise the web, pay bills, etc. and nothing that required serious memory or anything fancy like that. Usually brand new computers have great speed (at least to start), but this thing's speed felt like a laptop you have had for 4 years that slows down over time like most computers. I rarely ever use this because the speed is so poor. Forget trying to open multiple tabs at the same time because it freezes for multiple minutes. My advice is to pay a little more for a better laptop, because you clearly get what you pay for here.

The laptop is great on energy saving and the sound could be better for the speakers but I love the space and processing.

Great budget laptop

We just upgraded it to 8mb ram and a 500g SSD and he will get a few more years out of it. No issues with any of the hardware. You can’t go wrong at this price point.

Posted .With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.
