I am quite happy with the computer in general. I am very glad that I had the Geek Squad come to set it up because the start page on the Windows 8.1 with all the colored tiles is extremely confusing. Ryan from the Geek Squad set it up with a desk top opening page like the one I had been used to with my Windows XP and made sure that all the files I had backed up to thumb drives before shutting down the old computer were able to open on my new computer. Some files had extensions that would not initially open on the new computer and he made the necessary adjustments so that all my backups will now open. The one thing I am not happy with is that the shift key on the left hand side of the keyboard operates erratically. I am a touch typist and long worked as a typist in my career. I have to go back and read very carefully documents and e mails that I have typed to make sure the letters have capitalized where I have used the left shift key. More often than not, they have not and I have to stop and make the correction. It is particularly annoying with the capital letter "I" which almost never capitalizes the first time. At first I thought it was something I was doing, but It is not only I that encounters this problem, other members of my family have the same problem when typing on this keyboard. Almost every "I" in this review had to be corrected. I purchased the computer on October 8, but couldn't get the Geek Squad appointment until October 31, so it was not set up until October 31. Then we were out of town for a week shortly after it was set up, so I really didn't notice the shift key problem until mid-November. I actually think that Best Buy should replace this keyboard, but I have been told that it is probably not possible because it is more than 30 days since I purchased the computer. It is VERY ANNOYING. I would really like someone to respond to me about this. I do not want to purchase a new keyboard for a brand new computer!!

Convenient easy to use desk top computer

I got the Lenovo all in one desk top as a Christmas present for my mother, who is in her eighties. It replaced a computer that was 12 years old and not capable of handling the Web very quickly. I looked at several models at Best Buy and talked with a sales assistant. This one had everything my mother needs, and I had the security program installed at Best Buy and signed up with Geek squad so she would have easy access to help. We've had it a month and its been a great computer for her. I had it set up in about half an hour, connected to the WiFi router and the printer. We have all the programs she needs clustered together on the main display and on the tool bar. Our WiFi connection is temperamental, so I'm glad it is easy to reconnect on this computer. If we lose it, we just go to the sidebar and hit the "connect' button and we're back online. With the mouse, printer, and keyboard connected, we only have one USB port free (there are four), but that's all we need. RAM and Hard Drive memory is good for her use. The connection to the Web is fast. So this computer is great and easy to use for her typical needs, which are searching the web, downloading items, checking email, doing basic writing and printing, genealogy work, etc. We did not install Microsoft Office but she only needs the word processor that came installed.

I bought this PC because I am a student and in need of something to access school websites and Microsoft office. The computer is simple and easy to move if necessary. The websites load slower than I'd like but overall the PC is excellent for my needs.

Great feature set, Super low power consumption

This is a great All-in-one if you are updating from a ten year old PC. It has a dual core CPU, graphics, and memory controller in a ten watt core! Total system power consumption is less than 65W. It has a DVD drive, USB 3.0, Nice Wifi reception, and an Ethernet port to boot. Although sluggish when compared to a new high end box, it is four to five times faster than my mom's old Dell box and a fabulous upgrade for the price.

    Not bad for a Celeron

I was kind of skeptical when I saw that the processor was an Intel Celeron, but when I installed this AIO to my mom and turned it on, I was surprised by the performance. Windows runs really smooth and because we setup Windows with her MSN account, everything was already there for her, email, skype, favorites. Definitively a nice combination of a low-performance CPU and Windows 8.1 I actually feel the same sensation with this PC that when I setup my first Mac 20 years ago, LOL.

I bought this for my father who is not a tech guy, and very impatient about technology. I spend an hour with him to set it up and show a few trick, so now he loves it. Great for small space. Movie streaming is nice on it

The All in One fixture is great for the size of "office" I have in my home. A little hard to get use to Windows 8 but I am liking it more and more as I continue to use it. For the price, this is a great desktop.

so far so good for a non-geek

Just needed something to be able to do email, surf net, word/excel and a few other simple tasks. Wasn't hard to set up for a non-geek. I would recommend this to a friend if their needs are simple. I wouldn't recommend anything to anyone that uses a computer all day long because I don't know enough to make a recommendation for that type of usage.

If you were like me, struggling to find a computer that is gonna be absolutely perfect for your needs, then I 99.9% believe you've found exactly what you're looking for. I'm so happy & pleased with this computer. Not only is it crazy fast, but the set up was super easy. For me, it was a bit pricey considering my financial situation at the time of purchase, BUT IT IS COMPLETELY WORTH IT! I can't stress enough how AMAZING this computer truly is. And I've had a ton of computers & laptops and none have run as great as this one does. I play The Sims 4 and its PERFECTION! Anyways, this computer is just by far the best out there. You pay for what you get which is awesome because I didn't have to break the bank to get this :) Hope this helps you make your decision on whether or not to buy it. BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this computer mostly for business. My computer skills are limited but for the most part I am able to learn quickly and am happy that I have the help of Geek Squad. The screen size is perfect for my needs and has provided me a whole new world of technology right at my finger tips. I have enjoyed my purchase very much and would highly recommend this computer to colleagues, friends and family. I love Microsoft word and al the options

    Good PC - cost effective

This is a very cost effecttive PC. the All in one feature makes it look sleek and modern in your household. the 4GB of ram and 500Gb of hdd, makes it perfect for surfing, microsoft word, and other small tasks. There are 3 laptops in the house and this pc was bought to stand as an option when the laptop malfunctions but it ended up becoming the prime computer of the house. Plus the price makes it undeniable. ( I got an open box so it was cheaper).

I needed a desktop pc for general purposes: email, simple research and such things. I found this PC with a little online research and I'm very happy with it. Plenty of memory and simple use. I woudl have been happier with another USB port or two since the keyboard and mouse are both USB connected, but I can work around that. A nice simple home machine.

I needed a desk computer for a cheap price and found this one in a special and did not hesitate as Lenovo makes great products. I have a laptop and tablet that are Lenovo and have been excellent. This computer is not meant to run high processing programs but it does suit for everyday needs as browsing the internet, checking emails, microsoft office, etc.
