Freezes often and fairly useless with OneDrive

I was sick of long boot times so thought I would try a Chrome machine. The Good: I love the concept of the 2:1, and it works slick on pure internet and most google applications. I also love how it turns on in moments versus the eternal Windows startup I've used my entire life. Battery life is much, much better than a Windows laptop. The compact size is great. The Bad: Unfortunately, I am in a family of 6 and need Office support plus the more robust storage. If you use OneDrive or need Office tools, this machine is not for you. Even on regular applications, the machine will occasionally bog down and need restarted. Finding and using files in OneDrive is next to impossible, as is keeping the files organized. It hates streaming onto the television via the HDMI cable. Conclusion. I am hardly a power user, but I need to use a simple spreadsheet or word document now and then. And all of my files and photos have migrated to OneDrive - I could not migrate to Chrome if I wanted. I realize most of the above is about software rather than the machine, but I bought the machine to use and the software incompatibilities make the machine a paperweight at this point. I am going to have to go back to a Windows machine. Shame.

    Disappointment

I have had this for a few months now and continue to become even more frustrated. This machine is great for checking email and shopping, but you cannot get any work done. I hove 2 printers and have not been able to print anything even with it connected to a USB cable. I have wasted to much time trying to fix this issue and do not appear to be the only one having problems. I have had to pull out my old laptop several times to get simple work items done. The screen also freezes up or it will not come when it should. Lesson learned.

Purchased 11\21 . Opened Christmas day. My kids 4 and 6 have loved this and use it to play Lego and PBS KIDS games. Keyboard is only used once a week or so when my son takes a spelling test. I noticed today 2/17 that the following keys do not work. G, h,",backspace, volume down and brightness up. Very displeased as this is hardly used - maybe twice a week. Disappointed because if I have to fix it ,it will cost almost as much as a new one.

Bought this for my 9 year old son. He usually watches YouTube but every time we play a video it takes forever to load or buffer. Sometimes it will play the first 30 seconds or so fine but then it freezes and there's a circle spinning like it's trying to load/ buffer. It looks really cool especially turning from chromebook to tablet but not so good that you cant really use it without getting frustrated waiting then just giving up.

This is a Chromebook. It is Cloud-based computing and uses the Google Server to stream videos. The lagging you describe may be due to the speed of your internet connection. The Lenovo C330 Chromebook ships with the latest 5G 802.11AC frequency WiFi capability. Be sure your router has the latest firmware updates available a the router manufacturer's web site for your model router. Lenovo

this is a good laptop as far as features and speed, However, bought it two months ago and now a quarter of the keys have stopped working. As a college Wima paper due in a few hours this is incredibly inconvenient, I was expecting a longer keyboard life
