A good entry level Chromebook for the sale price. I wouldn't have bought it at retail price it's just lacking features that come with that price tag. Lets start with the bad. Storage is ok at 32gb, but put out the extra cash and get the 64gb version if you plan on running linux. Display is good but the screen bounces when using touch in laptop mode. Random memory hangups? Google play music is broken with most Chromebooks running ARM processors including this one which makes it impossible to upload songs to google play. I searched and this issue seems to hit the majority of lenovo chromebooks so i'm not sure who is at fault. But I would like to use a pre loaded google service while on a google chromebook, this issue is appalling and needs to be fixed. The input slots suck. Don't plan on using the SD card slot as leave in expandable storage. The sd card hangs out 3/4 of the way so plan on getting a micro flash drive to take up your only USB-A slot??? They could have at least added another USB-C slot so you can charge and use devices at the same time. Huge fail here Lenovo... The good. Touchscreen works well rarely do I have to retouch to perform an action. Outside of the the random hangup the 4gb of ram is plenty for normal use, play store, linux apps and good for light gaming. Ran gta3 on here with no issues. Bluetooth works great with no disconnects. Wifi connectivity is amazing no drops or lag on the ac 5g connection. Keyboard feels better then most chromebooks at this price point not floppy like acer or samsung. Same with the touchpad feels nice and works without issue. All in all i'm happy with it for the sale price way better then my year old Acer which was 50 dollars more. If your on the fence about a chromebook I would wait. Main reason is google is making sweeping changes to the OS which will render previous chromebooks in the dust as new ones are released but if your like me and upgrade once a year this will be a fine device to fill that roll.

The Lenovo C330 Chromebook, with MediaTek-8173c processor, was built for Android Play Store Apps. It provides USB Type-C video-out and charging for added versatility. The C330 is a value-minded Chromebook that provides 2 in 1 functionality with its 360-degree touchscreen. The C330 weighs just 2.68 lbs. If you are looking for a value minded 11.6" 2 in 1 Chromebook, the Lenovo C330 Chromebook will be a good choice. Lenovo

Only had one USB port which caused problems later. My Chromebooks built in mouse buttons were faulty and did not show a cut/copy menu, However a USB mouse did allow this menu. But with only one USB, no external hard drive could be attached at same time as USB mouse. There are workarounds with addition of USB expansion devices but I was in remote area and could not acquire one. USB ports also take a lot of beating so an extra one is needed. Had software issues too: Outlook Android did not have "Junk File" folder displayed in fold menus. Much of my correspondence ends up in this folder. Had to use my phone to check email contents. Lots of window based apps do not have android versions yet.

I asked to one of floor team at best buy if the Chromebook works same as laptop, and he said pretty much same but it works only when internet connected. I asked him again if the Chrombook can work with excel and other office program, he said Yes. it works same. But when I tried it works totally different. I had to purchase online excel or other office program either monthly or yearly. It is common to pay for use of office program but it is more complicated than I expected. I hope I can learn how to use the Chrombook and make it useful. And I wish the employee could explain with more knowledge on difference between Chrombook and Laptop.

If you just want a simple chromebook that is super portable, this is a decent option. It's very easy to use. However, the resolution of the display is horrible, even the desktop icons are fuzzy, nothing looks crisp and clear. This just doesn't work for me because I was expecting something that could be used as a tablet for videos/games and the resolution won't give me the experience I want. Startup is easy and fast, touch response on the screen is okay but the screen feels kind of 'sticky' so touch scrolling is difficult. Keyboard is good. I had some lag when trying to use apps. I will be returning this.

Chrome OS. Doesn’t work very well with other programs. I will be returning this computer to get one with Windows 10 installed. Wife can’t use the chrome book with her cricut software. Doesn’t link up well with the programs for her work unless you change the security levels. Which leaves you open for viruses. Just not a good fit for our house.

We recommend you always check the requirements and compatibility of the software you will be using with your new computer, before you invest in the new device. Be sure your new computer will do the work you need to do. There is no need for security software on a Chromebook, as it is a Cloud-Computing device and the Google Server provides anti-virus protection. Lenovo

I needed something to replace my iPad and iPhone that has a larger screen. It's all apps based. That is the issue. bigger screen but still app based so I wasn't able to do anything more on it than my iPad or phone. SO I returned it and got a Mac Book Air. I would only recommend it to someone who can do what they need on apps vs a full laptop.

I wasn't informed that this laptop was internet based and that the only time i can use it is if i have wifi. That is a big disappointment that the sales man did not make that clear to me after i told him that i didn't know much about these computers and how the work.

My 6th grader uses a chrome book at school, so we bought this one for her to use at home. We are having difficulty when she tried to project the chrome book screen to her digital tv. The tablet is a little small, but it is good for our application.

Chromebooks use Google Docs, free of charge through the Google Server. The Google Docs Programs for Word, Excel and PowerPoint are completely compatible with their Microsoft Office counterparts. You can purchase Microsoft Office 365 Programs for Chromebooks at the Google Play Store, if you choose. For 2018, Lenovo retained its place for a second year as the best laptop vendor:
