    I was very excited about getting this device for all the different stand modes, especially the tent mode. What's so great about the tent mode is how many degrees of angles you have. You can adjust it for optimal viewing at any sitting at a table, lying in bed, stretching out on a couch, riding in a plane, on a lap, table anything. No other device has unlimited viewing angles like this one. At 999-1199 with this much versatility and power it was the perfect hybrid. But of course, what seems too good to be true, like usual isn't. The battery life for haswell rated for 9 hours wasn't. More like 6-7. Ok I can live with that. Then I was on Best Buy's website on this device and noticed the yellow best buy logo was now "puke green". I though what did best buy do to their online logo. Horrible looking. Then I did a Google search for "bright yellow" and my fears came true. All yellows were this puke green color. I went to the review forums and realized this new super HD screen was the culprit and 100% of the screens were affected by it. Lenovo is working on a fix, but it will probably destroy the battery life which is already suspect to begin with. I returned mine and will look at another device or wait until Lenovo fixes this, if even they can.

    What a disappointment!

    I was excited to get this machine. It's light and appears to be adaptable and come with all the features I need. What a disappointment. The touch screen is slow to respond. Re-sizing the windows becomes a game of catch up. The machine is configured so that the virtual keyboard pops up automatically when a field is highlighted on a webpage using touch. True, it goes away when the actual keyboard is chosen, but this is annoying when the machine is in laptop mode. This would be great in stand or tablet configuration, but not when one's working in laptop mode. The touchpad seems insensitive. For example, the window select and drag feature works intermittently at best. My fingers are now sore from tapping the touchpad. I tried increasing the sensitivity but to no avail. The sound quality also is lacking. No depth. So great detailed HD display with poor sound quality. This is inconsistent design and suggests that someone cut some corners somewhere. The machine jumps to other apps in Windows 8.1 mode from the desktop mode.. For some reason, it keeps opening the Windows store unbidden. Sitting side by side with another computer, it takes significantly longer to load webpages than a so-called lesser machine. All that I can say is that I wish that this machine had lived up to its reviews and expected performance. I don't know if this is just this particular machine, this model or Lenovo machines in general. I'm not inclined to find out.

    If only they picked a better display...

    This would be a perfect laptop if they just picked a different screen. If you looked at the other reviews, you already know about the yellow. If you investigate on google for a few minutes you know that this can be improved to semi-normal yellow through the lenovo performance manager. Doing so reduced battery life to around 3 hours on a full charge...which just isn't reasonable. Besides the color, the resolution just isn't handled very well by windows. It does an OK job of making things normal, but there is still a significant amount of stuff on the screen that is tiny, hard to touch, etc. In addition the combo of res and zoom makes some stuff look great...but other stuff has very jagged edges. My only other gripe is that the clickpad is kind of loud and annoying, but I think thats pretty common these days. On the plus side it really is otherwise pretty fantastic. Battery life was about 6.5 hours without performance mode on, weight is great, flippiness is great, keyboard is great (for the size), and windows 8.1 on a touchscreen is really really good.

    It appears that all Yoga Pros have either defective panels or need a software/firmware update. Color hue is off on each color, yellow being the most noticeable (looks like a dark muddy green yellow). Resolution on the screen is amazing so hopefully they can fix the color issues. I noticed the micro HDMI port is loose and drops signal if laptop is moved (verified with multiple cables). Laptop performance, heat and speed are all great. I haven't heard the fan run at all yet and it barely heats up. Overall, I think I'm going to wait and see if Lenovo fixes screen issues before I decide if I want to exchange for another Yoga or switch to a different device altogether.

    Bought on black Friday for Christmas present. A week after Christmas, the screen went out. It would only work if the computer was plugged into the wall outlet. Sound still worked though. Returned easily at Best Buy for a new one. Started setting up the replacement (same model) and mouse pad did not work at all. Very disappointed as BB is 40 miles away from where I live. Took this one back the next day, got my money back and bought a Sony Vaio. It wasn't in stock so I will pick that up in a few days. All in all, the computer seemed like a good one. It had good reviews, & several of the BB employees said they had the same laptop & absolutely loved it. They had no problems with there's. I probably just got unlucky but Lenovo still lost me as a customer. Best Buy personnel were awesome on my returns. No problem at all with them.

    Display = Awesome, but...

    I was happy overall with the Yoga 2 Pro. But the hi res got annoying... Don't get me wrong the hi res was great, it's equal to if not better than Apple's Retina display. But it got to me when the applications I ran. (PhotoShop, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.) The text, menu's and all text inside these programs were to small! I mean unreadable SMALL. The only fix that GeekSquad could ascertain was to lower the resolution of the screen.... Which was the reason I bought the Yoga 2 Pro.... In short the Yoga 2 Pro is a great laptop, just make sure you look into the hi res and how it will apply to what you do every day.

    My son helped me pick out this computer due to its weight and ease of use. Got it home and set everything up and so happy!! But needed to hook up to a monitor for work due to the 13" screen. When I did so, the monitor did not work. So, went to Best Buy and after an hour and a half of troubleshooting by the staff, the mini-HDMI port was bad. So, we returned it and got a second computer. The port was bad in that one as well. So, if you need to use the port, don't get this batch of computers. If not, it is fantastic.

    it's a very good and sexy convertible ultrabook for $899, but it has a big issue with the displaying of colors. google for spongebob images to visualize this problem. I hope there is a fix and this will be taken care of. would be a great ultrabook without this flaw. I believe lenovo is aware of the problem, but not sure if this IS fixable. I can only recommend the yoga 2 pro, if lenovo can fix this problem.

    Returned after 4 days

    I really liked this ultrabook. Really slim, very flexible and easy to navigate. Unfortunately it crashed and the screen started flickering every time I turned it on. I believe the graphic card went bad. It was not heavily used, I didn't even get a chance to download any software yet. So I returned it after 4 days of normal use.
