Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 330s-15 laptop. Automatic restart of the computer indicates an issue. You can scan the computer and find any software issues and fix them with Lenovo Utility software installed on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

Have not had a lot of time to put it through its paces but so far it see,s to handle everything we have thrown at it. I don't like the offset touchpad position, but otherwise have no complaints.

The touch pad on this laptop is centered under the QWERTY keyboard. The addition of the 10-key numeric pad moves the QWERTY keyboard and therefore the touchpad, to the left.

The employee suggested this over the rest due to the casing. Overall the laptop is fine but the battery only lasts 3 hours max when streaming. Seems a little low for today's technology and demands. The power cord is shorter than most which makes plugged in use challenging sometimes.

Streaming video is one of the most battery draining functions. To maximize battery life, first adjust your battery saver settings. Next, to maximize battery life, be sure there are no unwanted programs running in the background, draining the battery. Here is a link to some tips for finding out what is draining your battery:

One of the smallest screen bezels I've ever seen on a budget laptop. Chugs along just fine with everything I've thrown at it. No fancy usage just VPN for work and internet browsing.

Although I was concerned about the size of the ssd I have been utilizing one drive and Google drive and no issues. No lag. Great picture. Loud fan at times would be the only pitfall so far.

To conserve on battery life, if it is not plugged in the brightness is cut down to 50%. The video keeps crashing and freezing. just watching YouTube is a challenge for it at times. if you need a laptop for a calculator this would be a good laptop for you, other then that I would buy something other.

This configuration has a 15.6" (measured diagonally) 1920 x 1080 (FHD) resolution screen, with a brightness level of 250 nits. It sounds like the power setting on your device is set to dim the screen to extend battery life, when on the battery. You can change this in the Control Panel Power settings on your device. You can get to these settings by clicking on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "Control Panel" in the search window. Select Control Panel from the list. In the Control Panel window that opens, type "Power" in the Control Panel Window search box at the top right of the Control Panel Window. It enter and select "Edit power plan" from the list.
