Really like the solid state processor. Much, much faster and screen is a lot better. In my mind a great value for the money.

I liked the price for what your getting as far as processing power. After some time with computer it has been freezing a little time to time and when I open the laptop it gives me a snowy screen. I have to close and open the laptop and screen will then work again. Over all its fast and does what I need it but with a few bugs.

Excellent specs for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop for my mom and it arrived on time. Here's what I like about it: 1.) It's compact. Very slim and reasonably light weight. 2.) The color looks great. 3.) I like the build quality. It doesn't feel cheapy, IMO. 4.) I find the processor to be sufficiently fast enough for day to day tasks. 5.) The display is plenty bright as per it's IPS specification. 6.) The amount of RAM is in the sweet spot for Windows 10. 7.) I like the feel of the keyboard. 8.) There are light indicators for the power, numeric keypad and caps lock. Many high end laptops don't have this feature. 9.) It has enough USB ports for normal use. What I don’t' like: 1.) It did NOT come with an Ethernet Card as indicated in the Specs, on bestbuy.com. I ended up buying a USB-C to ethernet adapter. I should also say that I contacted Best Buy about this, and they agreed to reimburse for the mis-advertisement. 2.) The GPU is integrated, and not discrete. I was under the impression that it was discrete. Fortunately, its fast enough for my mom's needs. In addition, the graphics driver does not enable "Radeon Settings" to change the graphics adapter's options. For the moment, I'm stuck with the Windows 10 interface, that is very limiting. Overall my experience with this laptop has been exceptional and I would recommend it to anyone.

I’ll start off by saying Its not a gaming machine. My wife needed a computer to edit pictures with so I got her this. It has plenty of speed and it’s very light. Only downside would be that it feels very fragile. Either way, the ryzen 5 appears to be very comparable to the i5 in every way.

Fast but Be Aware of Battery Drainage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the lightweight feel of this laptop and how, unlike my previous Thinkpad, the wrist rest area is smooth and the keyboard doesn't feel so far away. Its screen is clear, almost like a slightly cheaper version of the Yoga. As much as I want to give this 5 stars, I cannot because the battery drains immediately after unplugging the charger. I am not a gamer, nor do I ever keep the screen brightness above 62% or typically allow too many apps to run in the background. I have played with every PowerSaving option and balanced mode (energy consumption) and I haven't seen the slightest improvement.

You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.

Not a lot of memory but I send everything to the cloud so storage is not an issue for me. It is light weight; with the solid state drive, it has very fast response time. I had a Lenovo before and was very pleased with it and that's why I decided on another Lenovo. The Geek Squad did the total set up, even loaded in my new Micrsoft Office 365. I would certainly recommend .

With regard to learning your way around Windows 10, you may want to try YouTube.com (just type that address in your browser address window). There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.

The processors are great, the only unfortunate part is compared to its counterparts it might not have the same amount of Hardware for storage. You'll have to either use a cloud to back things up to or get an external drive. But outside of that I would buy this product 10 times over for the capabilities at this $400 price tag!
