Right out of the box I noticed there were black lines and dots showing up on the monitor. They disappeared for a few hours then returned and make things blurry and difficult to read. For being a brand new computer, I don’t think this should be happening on the very first day I use it. I will be returning it to the store for replacement or repair.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo IdeaCentre 520-27 All-in-One system. From the description of the issue you are experiencing with the image on the screen, it is possible that the initial activation of Windows 10 is the cause. You can easily check that you have the latest version od Windows 10 on the computer and that all of the BIOS and Drivers files have also been updated by using the Lenovo Utility software installed on the computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

Great for working from home

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spent almost 10k on my gaming PC setup, but I didn't want to use that to work from home, so I bought this All-in-one PC. I have been using daily for the past 2 years to work from home and it has been great. After I bought it, I did install an extra 8 gigs of RAM and a 500GB NVMe M.2 SSD and configured it up as my boot drive. So it runs faster than the standard configuration. I left the 1 TB HD in there for extra storage. I rarely use the touch screen (not a fan of finger prints), but when I do, it works well. The screen size is perfect and you can attach an extra monitor if needed. It includes a USB-C port which is nice. Perfect for work, but not if you want to play games.

It has been perfect for my needs, very fast, and user friendly. I had never used windows 10, and with mixed reviews from friends and family, I was nervous. very well made but could be improved with minor ch

The screen is very clear and bright. It would have been nice to have a slot for my camera card and the slots for use etc. are on the back which make them hard to get to and use.

With regard to making access to the ports on the back easier, try using a USB HUB with an extension cable. You will be able to position the USB Hub wherever you can access it better.

That said, this all-in-one computer is a beauty. It's fast, powerful and the display is stunning. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is that the integrated pop-up camera doesn't work, so I had to purchase an external camera. Not a big deal. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

I would highly recommend this computer to everyone. Now, I don't know if it would be good for gaming but I use it to study and work, I provide online teaching services so I use the built-in camera every day as well as the wireless internet and It has been a lovely experience, its big screen helps me manage my work perfectly well, it is a dream of computer, the best I have had!!!! First machine bought before Christmas, Nov 2018. Screen went out within a month; replaced no hassles at all through Best-Buy. Second machine once or twice the screen would go blurry and I thought oh-no, this screen is going out too. But apparently it seems to have been just a transient power or internet connection bug ??? I have no idea. Lately, it is working like a charm. Keyboard/mouse combo that came with it was flimsy and developed some sticky keys after about a year of use; not a big expense to replace.

Out of nowhere it just stopped working and before that I heard an alert or an alarm that I've never heard before then the screen blacked out and it stopped working. I don't know if it's a virus or it was a malfunction from the computer. I'm giving it a good rating because before all this, the computer was amazing and the touch screen is very responsive. I returned the computer and they were generous enough to help me through out the process.
