    DO NOT PURCHASE THIS COMPUTER!

    This is, by far, the worst computer/electronic purchase that I've ever made. I'm incredibly disappointed with both Lenovo and Best Buy. I purchased this computer in June of 2017 at the recommendation of a Best Buy employee who was helping my wife and I pick out a desktop PC. We told him that we were not looking for a cheap option but rather a PC that was easy to use and that had a fast and reliable processor. From the beginning, it operated and loaded content slowly. We contacted Lenovo in February of 2018 so that they could remote into the computer to fix whatever was slowing it down, as it progressively got worse (it happened to be programs that were running in the background and not necessary to the functionality of the PC itself, these were not programs that we had opened up but programs that began running every time the computer was turned on). This solution worked for about a week. However, we recently received an error message that the computer was not recognizing the hard drive and thus could not be turned on or used. We contacted both Lenovo and Best Buy to see what they could do for selling us such a horrible product that has caused nothing but trouble since we purchased it. Best Buy refused to do anything as it was outside of the return period, even though it had been less than 1 year, and not taking into account us as historically loyal customers. We understand the return period and we were not requesting a full cash refund. We offered to give the computer back for partial store credit so that we could purchase a replacement, and they refused to do anything. Keep in mind, this PC was recommended by and sold to us by a Best Buy employee. Lenovo is sending us a box and shipping label and requesting that we send the computer to them for repair (they initially wanted us to pay for shipping). To be honest, I would rather no longer own any Lenovo product after both the product and customer service experiences. Furthermore, Best Buy will be losing a loyal customer to the likes of Amazon and Target. Very disappointed all the way around...Steer clear of Lenovo and if you purchase something from Best Buy, don't expect a positive outcome from customer service if you happen to be disappointed with the product that they sell.
