Basic Chromebook

I bought it to replace a semi-aging (and by aging I mean slowing down) Android tablet. This Chromebook gets updates for a few years, which is great. I kind of miss having a touch screen, but I'm adjusting.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well I did not get to test much I was having an issue getting started on WIFI so I gave up after I was not too happy about screen and overall feel. So it’s back to store but a few days later got the: Lenovo - Flex 3 Chromebook 11.6" HD Touch-screen Laptop - Mediatek MT8183 & so far much better :) I will review that unit but so far so good screen is still a bit small but I was looking for a little laptop but so much space around screen :/ but it a nice quality & very fast the OS seams a little different ( better ), test it out and see if works for you if not try the Flex 3 & that might be the one :)

It work's fine for the price. I did had an issue where it turned off and wouldn't turn on. Wasn't sure what happened but i held the power button for several seconds and left the room for a bit and when i came back it was on.

I cannot recommend it enough due to its portable design and useful features. Can it do a lot? No. But it does do enough to fast and safely browse the web and connect with other devices.

Good battery life, nice display and good sound. I was able to purchase it on sale for $99 and I felt that was a great value.
