Battery life sucks

It has a lot of good features and great screen size but the battery life is terrible. I only get a bit over 6 hours. I am getting more than that with my old computer. The reviews showed it had a good battery life. I am disappointed.

Until about 4 months after purchasing,when i closed the laptop,it made a popping sound. When i reopened it, the screen looks cracked internally. Once i looked a little more,at the hindge,the screen is separating from the laptop. Took it to best buy and said i have to go through the company. Emailed the company with pictures and they dont stand behind their product. Said its not covered. So i spent 360$ for 4 months. Took back to best buy and they said although it seems like the manufacturer fault,it was my fault the computer was messed up and there is nothing they can do. Do not buy this laptop!

However, If you are persuing a degree or taking a class that includes downloading software I would suggest another route for a laptop as chrome is a limited operating system.
