It is that bad. It has such difficulty "clicking" to get a regular click, you have to try multiple times. And aiming the cursor is nearly impossible, as it jumps around and jitters. Nearly impossible to right or left click and nearly impossible to aim the cursor or control the laptop from this touch pad is infuriating. Also annoying is the choose of keyboards, having the number pad to the right, forces the touch pad and the QWERTY landing for the hands offset to the left. I have other Lenovo Chromebooks, I wish they had re-used the Yogi key board and touch pad, which is much much better. I will also say this, this Chromebook needs more RAM, as it doesn't have enough to run video's unless all other windows and apps are shut down. The speed and configuration of this laptop are very slow and clunky as well, perhaps making affecting the cursor movement as well.

A note for folks not used to using a Chromebook: you'll want to do some keyboard setting customization (for example, so that the caps lock key works as a caps lock key) but it's easy to do. If you don't need the high priced workplace apps, this is a great alternative.

Works as expected with Google programs I was familiar with. The online purchase instructions said I would be notified when the laptop was ready to pick up, but that did not happen. When I went to the store 24 hrs later it was ready, so a small oversite by management. Wouldn’t keep me from buying again.

Good for school use since everything they need at school can be downloaded on it. A little bit heavy on the downside for kids to be carrying it around in their back packs tho’! Overall, for its price and performance, I would say its a go!
