First few days it worked fine, then everything keeps freezing. YouTube and browser, all the apps keeps freezing. OS and all apps are up to date, rebooted several times but still with the same freezing issues. This was a gift for my 77 yr old Mom and she wasn't going to keep rebooting and there is no way she would understand how to troubleshoot the laptop. I decided to return it, but unfortunately the very same day I was going to return the defective laptop, my Mom had a bad accident and I end up having to bring her to the emergency room and get treated and CT-Scans. Of course, my mom is priority... so I missed the deadline to return the defective laptop by 3 days because I needed to take care of her. I explained the situation with the chat agent and I was instructed to call the 800-433-5778. I called and spent time with the customer rep and they told me to go back to the store and return it. Best Buy Store at El Camino (Mountain View) did not accept the return even with me explaining why I missed the deadline to return for the 4th time today. They even showed/tried to sell me their membership. How heartless are they with my Mom's situation. Anyhow, I will dispute the charge with my credit card company as the laptop is useless. I will never buy open-box tech items from Best Buy.
