I am very pleased with my new laptop. I do have one caveat. The hinges of the laptop tend to catch on fabrics if you place it on your lap.

This is an excellent Chromebook/pad. It functions really well and the touch screen with folding screen turns it into a giant pad. It's fast and responsive.

Wanted a Chromebook Plus model for the kids (11th, 9th, and 6th graders) so they could do schoolwork more easily than on their school-provided basic Chromebook. This one seemed to be the best one for the price, but... It's a Christmas present and won't be opened for 2 weeks, so I'll update this review in a few weeks with the thoughts from my kids after they first use it and after they've used it for a while.

battery life could be better- have to have minimum character to submit review.

This Chromebook Plus has excellent build quality and the keyboard and touchpad are very solid. The RAM is enough to be speedy for multiple tabs or applications. The wifi seems to be a bit weak and the battery is not one that will get you 10+hours, though.

Bought this for my son while in high school - meets all the requirements and approved by my 15yo so all around win - had issues with hinge but warranty coverage the repairs- overall great product with great service

These Chromebooks are light and powerful, and the touch screen is responsive.

This Chromebook is excellent. I bought 2 of these for my kids because the ones they get at school have very dim screens and don’t have touch screens. This one has the Chromebook plus standard and the screens are bright and are very responsive. The hinges feel like they will last a long time and the finish seems like it will survive their backpacks.

Loving everything about this Chromebook so far. Great screen that is big enough, that was a concern of mine coming from a 17 in screen on my old one. Actually like the size of this one better. Not as bulky. Having a lit keyboard is awesome too. Haven't used to 2 in 1 features yet. Perfect for my needs at the right price.

Great Chromebook and great condition for an open box item

The Chromebook works great, easy to set up for my kid and looks great.

Four stars instead of five based solely on the fact that the description has it listed as having a backlit keyboard, and it does not.

I am in my 70's and don't do a lot of heavy duty computer work, so a Chromebook is perfect for me. This is a nimble, responsive and user-friendly device which suits my needs. A good value, too.

Bought this chromebook in February of 2024. Was great for the first 10 months or so. After that it would periodically freeze up, I would only have 2-4 tabs open and it would freeze up. The fan would also run a lot and loud. I did a powerwash a couple of times, the problems still persisted. I learned to live with that issue, now another issue has popped up. Now when you type the e or c key you get a series of letters and not just the c or the e. I researched this and others have had the same issue with varying models of chromebooks. I tried everything suggested, including multiple powewashes, changing the keyboard languge, trying a full recovery, Nothing has worked, I give up. Looking to buy another model now.

Good reliable product to have all summer when schools take their Chromebooks back.
