I had a google tablet from 2018 and it was heavy and finally crashed on me. This chromebook is best I've had so far. I use mostly cloud based programs like Microsoft 365 for work but also use google drive and email for personal. Fast, powerfull, well built. I use the tablet mode for reading. The screen is totally legit. I think it's a very good value.

Lenovo Flex 5I Chromebook A Fatal Flaw / Achilles Heel / Reason to Avoid All of the positive features of this seemingly wonderful device are completely negated by the extraordinarily poorly designed hinges. You won’t be able to fully appreciate the touchscreen, clear upward firing speakers, backlit keyboard, sufficient RAM, speedy response, decent battery life, or the flexibility referred to in the Model number. Nope - just a simple physical attachment component: The hinges. A high percentage of their hinges are defective, Lenovo knows they are defective, and Lenovo will (despite a lawsuit ) deny and obfuscate the issue to keep from replacing or compensating customers for their engineering (or sourced parts) flub. Obviously, hinge durability will not affect every single device. You might get lucky! Mine worked properly for about a year. But when a hinge fails, it causes the frame around your screen to separate just behind it, making it impossible to open and close the device without snapping the whole thing apart. I find I can operate mine now by leaving the screen at a very precise angle, never daring to adjust it, much less use it in ‘tent’, flat or tablet mode. Not exactly ideal. The sad thing is that the canned customer response to everyone who reports this is of no help at all and seeks to avoid any corporate responsibility. While this is a decent Chromebook overall it’s supposed to have a fingerprint reader but for some reason this one doesn’t (Chromebook Plus site and Lenovo specs say it does). Battery life is a a bit less than others but the keyboard is nice. Screen is a bit too dim and the glare is strong. Overall it’s ok but it should have better specs per its description.

My son is autistic and isn't always the most careful but this lap top had proven to be tough enough for the job also is able to keep up with all the video editing he does.

Already owned the Lenovo flex 5 but wanted to upgrade to Chromebook plus, so I bought the 5i. Both are fantastic, Lenovo does Chromebooks great. The flex 5i is like the flex 5 on steroids with all the chrome plus stuff.

This was sold as an excellent condition out of box product. The only thing it was missing was the manual laptops usually come with. Laptop was in perfect condition except that the screen had a lot of finger prints on it, reason it received 4 stars. Ive never had a chrome OS so it was a little bit of a learning curve. Starts up and shuts down a lot quicker than my windows OS laptop. Even without windows apps, the google app platform works just as good offering apps throuth google drive that are similary to Microsoft Office. Plus side you can also download apps that are commonly on smart phones (specifically android).

Wonderful Chromebook Plus. Purchased for my daughter, super easy interface, great screen, easy to use, 8gb of RAM is definitely a plus.

This laptop is great for work its fast the time it takes to load a website is less than 10 seconds. I rated a 4 because I dont use it as much and you’re limited to certain apps.

I loved it because it is super modern and updated, the system to work on my son's homework, the antivirus updates seemed like one of the best things to bring and the restrictions of some apps or applications to use for the safety of my children I loved the super modern screen ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I bought this laptop to replace my Samsung Chromebook. I love it. It's light enough, has a touch screen, and uses the operating system I've become accustomed to. I only use it for streaming, emails, general internetting, and a little document making for work. Such a steal!

This is my main device for surfing the net, checking my email, playing games, watching TV (Tubi, Pluto, Plex), and YouTube vids. The back lit keyboard is essential and a joy. Touch screen is an absolute tool requirement; it utterly simplifies navigation and game play.

Bought this for my granddaughter. She loves it for school work and after school surfing. A great deal at regular price but even better when you catch it on sale. Touch screen, backlit keyboard and plenty of storage, memory and processing power.

I bought this as an 80th birthday gift for someone to replace an old and painfully slow Microsoft laptop. Although he is not the most computer savvy octogenarian out there, he has adjusted to it quickly. Painless setup, easy to use, fast.

Nice, fast, sleek + lighted keyboard- love this machine Priced right, looks great, and is lightweight; graphics are sharp.
