Anytime I started up my monitor it would only have a blinking white screen on it. I returned this item and bought a ASUS - 23.8" IPS LCD FHD FreeSync Gaming Monitor (DisplayPort, DVI, HDMI) - Black from Best Buy which I am much happier with.

Dark side has very nice picture but.....

I was so disappointed, as my son was so excited to receive it. Needless to say it now has to be returned.

60 Hz NOT 144Hz

Can someone tell me why this is? Pretty sure thats illegal. Please correct me if im wrong, I would very much like to be wrong about this.

If you are only getting a refresh rate of 60Hz, we recommend you check the requirements and compatibility of your video source, whether computer or gaming console. The G25-10 Monitor ships with one HDMI 1.4 version port on one DisplayPort 1.2 version port and will deliver a refresh rate of 144Hz through either connection when connected to a compatible video source. If you are connected to a compatible video source and have used either the included HDMI 1.4 version cable included or a DisplayPort 1.2 version cable to connect your compatible video source and are still getting only 60Hz refresh, check the Onscreen settings Menu to be sure you have the right settings selected. However... they failed to mention ANYWHERE that there are no built in speakers. I don't have the money to buy any speakers either. Great job Lenovo, outstanding.

Even the lenovo logo when turning on the monitor, while still visible, is way too dark to actually to see at a normal viewing angle. Everything else is impossible to see no matter what angle. I also can't see the settings options if they are being displayed.
