We use this laptop mainly for online shopping and homework. It works fine. No issues at all. Great price, nice big display. The track pad was messed up until I downloaded drivers.

I picked this up for a good price. There are definitely better laptops out there, but for the money paid, it does what is supposed to. My teen daughter is the primary user and she uses it mostly for school as well as Netflix and playing Sims 3. It handles her uses well and plays Sims 3 fairly smoothly at around medium settings. No issues so far with hardware or Windows 10 running on the laptop.

I bought this computer to get me through an online college degree program... that was years ago now, and I'm typing this review on the same machine. Some might say it's old and slow... but isn't reliability more important? Never had an issue with this computer... probably the best money I've ever spent on tech.

It is a basic laptop that doesn't have too much exciting going on with it. It works very well for my excel spreadsheets with the large screen. Recommending as long as you don't need something RAM intensive to be running. Good for surfing the web, watching some Youtube videos, and Microsoft Office.

laptop fits my needs as I am a student, I leave the gaming to consoles. Laptop works great, I am able to multi task without any issues. Battery life could be better, I only get nearly 5 hours per charge. Windows 10 needs a little more experience, enjoying it thus far

I bought this laptop as a package with my Xbox One. I like the features of the laptop, but the graphics look kind of washed out. I use it for a variety of tasks and also to play Xbox games. The speed is just OK, but works well for what I need it for.

Does all it it's supposed to do, fast and the price is reasonable

I had a full blown work station on my home desk. The problem was all that gear took up WAY TOO MUCH space. I had seen other people using large laptops as desktop substitutes. I found this Lenovo G70-80 open box at a nearby Bestbuy. It has all the credentials I was looking for. No, I did not need a gaming laptop. I just wanted something with decent general performance. The Lenovo G70-80 has it - a big hard drive, plenty of onboard RAM, and a fine processor. The speed and performance of the G70-80 is what I need it to be. The only thing lacking in it is a great sound card. The onboard one doesn't distort or make any other unmusical noises, but the audio is rather bland. I'm using an outboard USB sound DAC in place of it and that makes a HUGE improvement in sound. Aside from the bland audio, the G70-80 is very good.

Lenovo has made a quality laptop for a quality price. I have not encountered any problems using this laptop, and i only have great things to say about it. My only knock on it is the overall size of it, but im able to overlook it because of everything it brings. I absolutely love this laptop, and its perfect for college students.

Great value laptop. You can play games but nothing to graphic intensive. Bigger screen makes a huge difference for entertainment purposes as well as older folks with bad eyesight

Exceptional value... working great... large screen is great and has very good resolution. Only thing I don't like is the keyboard... it's a little 'too flat' and different from others I've used. May just need to get use to it.

I love the size and easy to learn how to use the screen is easy to look at. Battery holds charge well. Screen size is not to big nor is it to small. Perfect laptop for someone that wants a simple to use laptop
