We always recommend that users research the requirements and compatibility of the specific game you want to play (of the specific software you want to use). We recommend you check with the game's software publisher's web site for their compatibility with Windows Home 64-bit (Chrome, Android) operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to the system's configuration.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 1i-14, model number 90MV00ELUS, is an entry level, light use system with an AMD Athlon Silver 3050U processor, with a base speed of 2.3GHz and a boost speed of up to 3.2GHz, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB solid state hard drive, for quick access to files and programs. This model Lenovo IdeaCentre 3 is not meant for multi-tasking or demanding programs. We recommend running updates through Windows and our built-in application called Lenovo Vantage to help ensure that your software and drivers are up to date, as this may resolve your problem. If you are still experiencing issues, here is a phone number to contact Lenovo Tech Support, and if you give them information on your situation or troubleshooting you have tried, they may be able to assist you in getting things in order: 877-453-6686.

Called customer service and they said we needed to troubleshoot. I took it back to best buy as I was having other problems with the computer being slow.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo IdeaCentre 3 Desktop Computer, model number 90MV00ELUS. The length of time for a Windows update to download and install will vary, depending on the size of the update file. Boot time for this configuration should be less than 20-seconds from power off, to the Windows 11 Login screen. If you are getting slower than expected boot up speed, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 11. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. Here is a link to instructions for uninstalling McAfee from a Windows computer: https://service.mcafee.com/?articleId=TS101331&page=shell&shell=article-view. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of your Windows 11 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. This configuration of the IdeaCentre 3 Desktop computer is a light to moderate workload configuration. It is good with Productivity Software, like Microsoft Office, browsing the internet. It is not meant for multi-tasking or heavy resource demand software programs. We always recommend you check the requirements and compatibility of any software you will be installing on your new computer, before you invest in any computer. Be sure your new computer can support the software you will need to use and your workload. If the problem persists and the issue does not appear to be software-based, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support and let the Lenovo Customer Support Specialist know the troubleshooting steps you have already taken, by calling at: 877-453-6686.
