Posted .We are very sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the Lenovo IdeaCentre 3 Desktop. Please ensure any software you installed is compatible with Windows. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on-screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Posted .This Lenovo IdeaCentre 3 Desktop Computer, model number 90MV00ELUS, will boot from off to the Windows 11 Login Screen in less than 20-seconds, thanks to the 256GB M.2 2242 PCIe NVMe solid state hard drive installed within this configuration. If you are getting slower boot up times, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 11. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. Good sturdy workhorse

I have two monitors hooked up to it. It is small, connects to the internet flawlessly. I probably would not recommend it for gaming but I am not a gamer so it works well for me. It updates quickly, shuts down and starts up with no problem. There is plenty of room to save photos. Sad that it does not have microsoft on it. I do use it for my work from home job.

Runs Linux With No Problems

I can't speak to how well it runs Windows 11 because I installed Kubuntu Linux at the initial boot. It is easy to access the BIOS (F1 during boot) and to boot to a USB stick for the Linux installation. I use it in our theater so my wife can access email and play the occasional game. I've had no issues with the graphics driver or with my input devices which include a wireless keyboard/mouse and a joystick. There are plenty of USB ports on the front and back of the device. Streaming high-resolution video is not an issue (on Linux). There is no dedicated digital audio output so if that is required you would need to purchase a device that will extract digital audio from the HDMI output (no big deal, but something to be aware of). The computer is absolutely silent so it would be no problem using it as a media streamer in a study or bedroom. The fact that Linux installs with no problems at all means that this little device has great possibilities.

It is quite compact, and does not have a DVD drive (which I did not realize when viewing it online). The mouse that came with it did not work. I called Lenovo, they told me to call Best Buy, who told me to bring it in to the store. When I took the mouse into the store, The Geek Squad told me I would have to bring the whole system in. I live over 35 miles from the store, and did not want to make another trip.

Sound and HDMI Display Issues

I have to connect an audio cable to headphone jack. I already reinstalled the driver and device, and it does not help. 2) HDMI is not functioning intermittently. I have to unplug the HDMI cable and reconnect in order to get the display.

Terrible

I click to open the start menu and it takes 15 seconds for it to come up. I cant wven run normal programs. I wish i could return this piece of junk
