You get what you pay for.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fair computer. A bit slow, and has a tendency to reboot itself in the middle of business. It's good enough to use until I can get my primary computer fixed.

Posted .This system should provide good speed with its AMD A9 processor and 4GB of RAM. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.

Wouldnt Turn On
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought it online, and hooked it up through my TV: No display. Everything was on and running, and the TV said there was a display coming through, but nothing. Called Lenovo Support, and that was a mistake since they asked me to perform the same actions that I already did. I thought Lenovo changed, but I was wrong...

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues connecting your Lenovo IdeaCentre 310s desktop to your TV. Be sure you have selected your TV in the computer settings as your monitor. Open the "display settings" in your computer and activate output to the TV screen. You can either mirror content of your computer on the TV or extend the display just like a dual monitor screen.
Pick up your TV remote and switch to "External Inputs" from the menu. You will need to change the default "Video 1" to a different selection which may be "HDMI 1" or "Video 2" depending on how you have made the connection. Important: Make sure you connect the cable to the TV before turning on the computer as sometimes it may fail to recognize external display. You may also need to change the screen resolution of your TV using the Display settings in your Control Panel else the picture may appear distorted.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you had issues with updates for your Lenovo IdeaCentre 310s desktop. The length of time Windows 10 updates take varies, depending on the file size of the updates. Also if the internet connection is interrupted during the update, this will slow the process down as well. You can call Lenovo Tech Support if you have questions: 877-453-6686.

Runs too slow- not worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 7 yo computer that runs faster. I am just trying to run MS Office and email. It was so bad I got the GeekSquad to review and they found a lot of temp files and cleaned up. Ran "ok" for a day or two now back to inordinately slow loading of software and files. Will try to return.

Bare essentials.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A minimal computer. Not much more. Has only two USB the back. Very little RAM compared to most PCs available today. Processor isn't exactly "lightning" fast. Video is barely ample.Even though it was very inexpensive, I wouldn't recommend it.

Posted .This configuration has a total of six standard USB ports - Four on the front and two more on the back. If you need more USB ports on the back, you might want to consider using a USB Hub on the back of the device. This configuration ships with the Dual-Core AMD A9-9430 processor. It has a base speed of 3.2GHz and a boost speed of up to 3.5GHz. There are 4GB of RAM supporting the AMD A9-9430 processor. The maximum RAM this configuration can support is 8GB within the two memory slots.
