Got this PC on sale for $250 and it's exactly what I wanted. Good basic computer for checking email, surfing the web, doing taxes, and light gaming. Plenty of storage for photos and videos with the 1 TB hard drive.

Great value - great computer!

It was reasonably priced, has a smaller footprint compared to my old computer and is super fast and easy to use. I am very happy with it!

Surfing the Internet, watching YouTube, Netflix, email, banking, bill paying, etc. it’s not a gaming computer but overall general pc it’s really good! WiFi is fast onboard and included. If you need a new low to mid grade computer that’s windows 10 this is a good choice in my opinion.

Great for the cost

Not the most powerful machine, and seems to take an extremely long time to boot up, but at that price point I can't complain about performance. My only real complaint is that it didn't come with Microsoft Office and that software is $150!!! I can't bring myself to spend $150 on software for a $200 computer; all I really need is the most basic version of Excel.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaCentre 310s desktop. This system should boot up from off to the Windows 10 desktop in less than 40 seconds. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We needed a cheap desktop computer right away and found this one (Lenovo - IdeaCentre 310S-08ASR Desktop) brand new at our local Best Buy for a little over three hundred bucks, a good deal we thought, that is until during set up we discovered that in order to use it at all you are forced to have a Microsoft account and give them all of your information in order to proceed to use this computer. And that's why we gave this Lenovo Desktop Computer only three out of five stars. Generally it is not very powerful compared to others, and the graphics aren't too good either, but you get what you pay for in life and we knew those things going in, but didn't know we would be forced to participate in a Microsoft scheme in order to use the product we purchased; that information was neither published online or on the outside of the computer's box. In all fairness to Best Buy they offered to accept the return of this computer and give us a full refund.
