||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After unboxing this Computer at the Office I loaded office 2013 professional on it and a couple other programs I then started to run through its paces I was very surprised when this computer took a long time to process just about anything I believe it just doesn't have enough memory some going to purchase an additional 4MB of memory for a total of 8 and see what that does. I'm a firm believer when you make a product you should always give it enough memory that it wouldn't need to have additional memory unless you were doing a specific project that required a lot of memory. So overall I'm disappointed that they didn't provide sufficient memory just run basic programs without slowing down or locking up because of lack of memory.

Posted .There is a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 included as part of the Windows 10 operating system. In order to keep the program active after the trial period, you will need to purchase a product key. You will not need to download any additional software. If you installed additional Microsoft Office software on top of the pre-installed Microsoft Office 365, this is the reason for the system slowing down.

It is easy to start , and use. I use it with a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse . They were easy to install , and they work great . the computer works great , and I am happy .

It's Good For the Price

If you're like me and don't like waiting around for programs to load, then you're gonna need to spend some money to upgrade the RAM. The RAM is expandable beyond the 8GB (listed in the product specs). I now have 12GB and it works great. I also added an SSD, but that was personal preference.

This Dual-Core processor has a base speed of 3.2GHz and a boost speed of up to 3.5GHz. This configuration has 4GB of DDR4-2400MHz RAM. It is good with Microsoft Office type programs, internet browsing and other moderate work. If this describes your computing needs, the IdeaCentre 310s desktop would be a good choice for you.
