Great "all in one" pc

I like it. I also enjoy the CORTANA feature (voice and inspired by the A.I in the game "Halo"). But, you might wanna pick up a higher quality keyboard and mouse. The ones supplied are not high quality. Fast machine and easy to use. Good quality. P.s. The little piece to plug into back of the monitor for the WIFI keyboard/ mouse is INSIDE the mouse. You just pull it out and plug it into the back of it. :) You're welcome. Nov 24 2018

Posted .Here is a link to instructions for switching users within Windows 10: https://blog.techinline.com/2018/03/07/3-ways-to-switch-user-in-windows-10/ Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

But the screen is nice and large. Hooking up an additional monitor is simple enough. Start up out of the box is guided and easy to do. For a home computer it is still fairly maneuverable; no heavier than larger laptops but not something you would use lying in bed. It comes with the wireless keyboard and mouse. It seems to have good speed and if I could figure a way to get Microsoft to shut up, already, with the constant notifications it would be fantastic. HINT: turning off the notifications doesn't stop the notifications.

Regarding turning off verbal alerts, try turning off Narrator, here is a link to instructions: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4028598/windows-10-start-or-stop-narrator. If that doesn't do it, try turning off "Cortana Suggestions". Especially more so now since manufacturers are eliminating items to their computers we thought were essentials. That is why this AIO Lenovo represents such a great value. The AMD Ryzen CPU represents a real change for AMD, and is every bit as competitive as the new chips from Intel. This computer is really fast. It also has a great touchscreen, with very good and bright resolution, and the computer does have a CD/DVD optical drive. Simply stated, there is nothing in its price range from their competitors that come close to this unit, especially given the Best Buy price. Highly recommended.

She needed something that would not be slow but nothing too fast since she was only going to do school work on it. We priced regular PCs and did not have an AIO in mind until she saw this one. At first she wanted an old fashioned PC but once she played with this AIO at the store she fell in love with it. She really liked the fact that there was no need for a tower and all the cords that go with it. She liked the easy set up and the more clean look of an AIO PC. I have not heard any negatives about the AIO since my wife has been using it. If you are looking for a PC and dont mind not being able to upgrade or fix the PCs hardware issues in the future, then this AIO is the way to go.

This configuration allows the user to upgrade both the RAM memory as well as the hard drive, if you want to, as the user, without voiding the manufacturer's warranty. Additionally this model ships with Lenovo Utility software for maintaining the operating health of this device. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If you have questions or need additional help, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

The touch screen is practical and ergonomic, and very responsive. The computer is relatively fast. Its not an SSD or high end processor, but it gets the job done very well for basic to mildly advanced tasks. Highly recommend.

They wanted something easy to use and saves space. This fit the bill. They are both over 80 years old, and have had no issues using this computer. They love the touch feature and like Cortina.
