Haven't really used it yet since there was a defect with it at purchase. Beware if Geek Squad has to send it out for repairs, as it took 11 DAYS to travel the 400 miles to the repair site. It has been in transit on the return trip for 7 days so maybe I'll get it next week. Maybe.

I hate Windows 10 and where does the sound get plugged into the back? I hate this! I’m glad I didn’t get rid of my 17 year old computer even if it is an HP. It has all of the bells and whistles including LightScribe. Best Buy just sell what is ordered. I took it out of the box and looked it over and put it right back into the box. All of the new computers are the same, Where do the peripherals get plugged in? Of course none of this is Best Buy’s problems, so I will continue to be a good customer and recommend Apple instead. If I can find the parts I need for my old computer it will be worth it for me spend the money on the parts and repair or rebuild my old computer myself.

Was to laggy, did not do what I needed it for. The computer would spend at least 5 seconds spinning for the next thing to pop up. I ended up returning it and getting a different computer.

The Lenovo IdeaCentre 5i Desktop Computer, model number 90NA0001US, will boot from off to the Windows 10 Desktop screen in less than 40-seconds. If you are getting slower boot times and/or generally slower than expected performance, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. Lenovo

No good bought it brand new and when got home it had no operating system then Best Buy wanted to charge me to put one on, pay the difference for a different computer tower or wait 2 weeks for another one to come in. After talking to a manager they decided to put an OS system on it since I had paid for the total care as well but never received a call back when it was finished and when I got it home did not work correctly. It would not format to the computer monitor through the hdmi cord

I love this desktop except for the excessive rattling! Geek Squad was no help they basically told me it happens and to let them have the computer to send out for about two weeks. I need it to work so i can't be without it for that long. A fan replacement was suggested even though it was brand new at the time. The computer is barely a month old now and the thing rattles so loudly I can't get any answer as to why. They replaced a fan that was brand new and didn't need replacing, that made no change. Very disappointed in this but other than that it's great

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo IdeaCentre 5i Desktop Computer. Since Best Buy replaced the internal fan and the rattling noises continues, check to see if the rattling noise only happens when the fan is running. If there is no rattle noise when the fan is off, although the problem may not be the fan itself, it is possible that the airflow the fan creates is moving a part that is causing the problem noise. We recommend you make an appointment with your local Best Buy Geek Squad again. This time have them check for loose wiring that may be moving when the internal fan circulates air through the computer. This is the worst and SLOWEST computer I have ever purchased! I really took the chance as it has many good reviews. However, brand new and out of the box, this computer is constantly freezing and very slow. Definitely wasn't worth the money.
