Posted .This system should be a fast system with its AMD Ryzen 5 1400 processor and 8GB of RAM. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.

Even though it has a low end video card, it performs wonderfully for the gaming I do. Fast start up, quick connections, WiFi printing all work great for me. Haven’t had the fan issues others have complained about. Highly recommended.

If I didn't already make my point, this computer is extremely fast, even with multiple applications and programs running at the same time, thanks to 8 GIGABYTES of RAM and 1 TERABYTE hard drive space. Looks sharp with its silver color. However, Windows 10 experience can be improved, IMHO.

It looks nice, don't let the slim case fool ya, it's a very capable pc. Onboard vid card has plenty of juice.

He uses it for his school work as well as his gaming and other recreational activities. He feels it is a real improvement over the laptop he previously used. With regard to learning your way around Windows 10, you may want to try YouTube.com (just type that address in your browser address window). There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.

The new ones were all sold out and I really wanted this model so when I saw Open Box ones available I was hesitant, then I saw Geek Squad Certified Open Box and thought, that probably better than new because it should eliminate the chances of getting a total dud or doa computer. Boy was I wrong. Not sure what the geek squad did but they certainly did not check this computer. It would not load windows. It would turn on, say Lenovo, then start to load, say preparing then say restarting and the whole thing would start all over again. I contacted Lenovo and they instructed me to use the One Key Recovery program, only to find out that whomever first used this computer altered the Windows in it because the Recovery could not do it job because it said, more than one Operating System is installed. After over 12 hours of trying to get a USB Recovery key made on another computer only for it to not work I returned this computer. Do yourself a favor and only buy New unless you have hours and/or days to work on a computer to just turn on.

The price is excellent for the home buyer and no major bloat ware. Had had no problems.
