I've been using this computer for 6 months - Love it!

Extremely weak power supply with proprietary pins for the motherboard make it almost impossible to upgrade the power supply without using adapters or buying the higher wattage model through Lenovo (which they charge an arm and a leg for). This results in the inability to use a higher end GPU since no 6-pin connector is present. Other than that, a great deal for the money if it can be found on sale. At the price point of $599 though, you can find much better deals elsewhere.

Old computer licenses were out of date. Decided to purchase a new computer instead of paying to renew licenses on our old computer. Decided to purchase this Lenovo brand computer on sale at Best Buy.

I wish that I had booklets to help me understand on how to use this product, I had to have someone come and help me install the computer

We purchased the Lenovo - IdeaCentre 720-18ASU Desktop - AMD Ryzen 5-Series - 8GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive - Silver and it works well.

I love these Solid State Drives - they are so much quicker to load and generate almost no heat. Go computer so far

I have never owned a Lenova tower before. I always have purchased HP. This computer is really nice! I will purchase this brand again without hesitation

If you are looking for a machine to do all of the basics then this is ideal. Why pay for more gizmos than you need? Easy access to ports and DVD.

Bare bones desktop with zero bloat. Using for simple home tasks. Quick boot. No complaints.

I was looking for an inexpensive PC for use as an HTPC, and this Lenovo is just the ticket. It was well packaged and setup was quick and easy, with just a few steps to get things up and running. It connected to my wifi network with no issues, and offers Bluetooth, which allowed me to pair it with my Harmony smart control allowing use of the remote for controlling video and audio playback. Video output is HDMI, DVI, or SVGA. The front USB, SD, mic, & speaker ports are covered by a nifty swing out door. There are two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports on front. I initially streamed some episodes of "Young Sheldon" from CBS.com, and video and audio were just as good as my Roku & satellite receiver. I then installed Plex server and moved some of my hi def audio files to the PC. I listened to Pink Floyd's "The Wall" both directly from the PC and streamed via the Roku Plex channel. Audio quality was very good. Not quite as good as the same files played from my Oppo BDP-103, but excellent for computer playback. I haven't used this computer for any word processing or other computing tasks, but for my purposes, it's an outstanding value. The processor and 8GB RAM are more than sufficient, and the 1TB hard drive has room to spare. If you want a PC for streaming from the web and storing tons of media, this is a great buy.

good: - small - small form factor, small footprint. - relatively quiet - the system fan is not overly noisy - configuration - processor/memory/hard drive space, all relatively decent. for casual users you'll have plenty of space for files, enough cpu and RAM for web surfing and typical office applications and media. - usb ports are 3.0 bad: - only 2 usb ports - optical drive is dvd, can’t be swapped because of the face - mouse and keyboard somewhat cheap feeling. usb port on keyboard for mouse, meaning you have to use the only 2 usb ports on the tower for mouse and keyboard, unless you get a hub. - video card - sufficient for basic tasks. probably not going to be gaming on it. overall: overall it’s a decent machine for the price point. good for daily use by the casual user, but not necessarily much more.

This is a really great computer and I would purchase again.

It does what I needing it for, compact easy to take it on the go.

can not handle having a few pages open. Thought it would be a good computer but just slow and sluggish when it can handle being connected to the internet. My other devices will be on line but not the computer.
