This is my first all in one pc. My first Lenovo. I have a lenovo at work, a laptop thinkpad t540 i7, its nice. But I bought this one because the same model listed at $549 had sold out while I was talking to representative. I see only one difference between the two and that is this model comes with wireless mouse and keyboard and comes with different free malware protection and shutterfly software trial. It was delivered faster than date given to me, which is a good start. It's an absolutely aesthetically beautiful machine. I love the motherboard mounted behind the monitor. Cortana AI voice talked me through the setup quickly and it was up and running within 10 minutes or close to. The monitor is bigger than I thought, the base is very sturdy and feels very well built. I got the 8GB 1 TB HDD and ordered a 2TB external hard drive I plan to store my itunes movies on. I love it has a CD/DVD writable player slot neatly tucked behind near the motherboard. I have been in iOS for a decade and am.not familiar much with Windows 10 but am excited to learn. My mac min became obsolete and I decided not to drop $1000 on another one that will be rendered useless in 8 years, good bye apple. Lenovo is a powerhouse in the industry now. Their name grows in popularity by the week. Now I know why. I am not a tech geek that will spew specs and computer jargon all day about this machine. I am a casual user who likes to browse the internet, type a letter to relatives, stream videos. I have a Yamaha piano with a midi cable I want to connect to this and work with some software on composing and notating the songs I write. This machine is capable of doing such. The price point is wonderful and I would recommend buying this model now if you are similar to me in your needs of a computer. The 2020 models are due soon and this wont get restocked, guessing, and the 2020 models will be much more. It may drop a few $$ for clearance but it has everything I need, its gorgeous, the picture is brilliant, have read reviews saying it's not good but I disagree, and camera has a shutter to close if you dont want it stating at you. Great for zoom meetings I'd tou work from home. I have only had it for a few days but am very pleased with this purchase and may become a Lenovo shareholder soon as well. Speakers are better than adequate but I hooked in a pair I have to really fill my room with music. This company knows what they are doing and dont skimp on quality. You wont find a better bargain than this Lenovo AIO a340 at Best Buy, believe me I looked around and it was $100-200 less at best buy than other places. Grab this while they have them. 4 usb ports 1 hdmi port, I added a powered usb hub and with that and external hard drive all on my desk, I still have plenty of room for the router/modem and with the ethernet cat 8 patch cable I am running 360mbps down and only pay for 300down. Fast, sleak, and quality built. Lenovo has not asked me to write my opinion nor am I employed by them.

I absolutely love this system so far. I thought I was getting a wired keyboard & mouse. It was a nice surprise for them to be wireless. One small drawback, not enough USB ports. Only 2 left once you put in speakers &/or headphones & the mouse. Otherwise, it's great. I love, love, love that there is a DVD/CD drive for burning and watching/listening. This is my first experience with the All-in-one system and I'm loving the sleekness. Time will tell if it's an improvement over the old towers which seemed to last forever. The test will be in the reliability & it's just to soon for me to know about that.

Glad I decided on this computer. The set up is audio guided and super easy, takes just a few minutes. Not a big fan of the monitor stand, but not a huge deal. Mouse and keyboard are wireless, and camera can be hidden, a big plus when working from home.
I recommend checking for camera in device manager right after unboxing and set up. My original purchase had no built in camera, and I was a little over the exchange time limit by the time I realized. The store manager was super helpful and did the exchange for me, otherwise it would've been a total waste of money as I got this computer for online college classes.
My exchange now is working perfectly, only thing is I sometimes have to keep finger pressed on the power button for it to start running up, ugh. I hope it doesn't signal future issues. Otherwise I'd give this a solid 5.

I purchased this computer for my father in law, who is 85. Unlike his Dell desktop computer, this one is an all in one with touch screen. Great display (very bright) and without the hassle of having wires in the back for the keyboard and mouse because everything is wireless. As I was demonstrating the computer he looked on with interest (he has been using Windows 7 for the longest). But what caught his eye was that he was able to use his 'finger' to move and scroll, which he likes because sometimes using a mouse for him can be a bit challenging. A really no fuss computer for seniors, students, and anyone else just looking for a basic computer that overall is not that bad.

Computers with issues

I like this computer for the purpose I am using it for, however it is my second one and I still had an issue with it. The first one I ordered had streaks on the screen immediately when I turned it on, right out of the box. The Lenovo customer service suggested I take it back to the store and exchange it, since I just got it. That’s what I did. I got the second one, ordered at the store and it took about another week to come in. After my date to return, I discovered the CD Drive had an issue. It would come out, but get stuck going back in at least a half an inch. After my frustration calling the store and never getting an answer, I figured I would order an external hard drive, at that point, I shoved it in and it closed. When my software arrived, one of the main reasons I needed this computer in the first place- I put the CD in, and again forced it in and to my favor it read the CD and I was able to download it.
A three star because it did and does the job I need, however very frustrating to not get at least one of these computers fully functional without screen streaks and having to force in a CD drive. Also don’t expect super fast speed when on the internet,m. The touchscreen is good and useful as well.

Thanks for choosing the Lenovo IdeaCentre A340 All-In-One. Please be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC” Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on-screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

I've only had my Lenovo IdeaCentre for a couple of weeks but so far I've been very happy with my choice - And I looked at a lot of different brands and set ups. Some reviews say the screen is smaller than they thought it would be, some reviews say it's larger. But it's very clearly a 21.5 inch screen and works find for my purposes which is publishing/layout plus just day to day stuff. And it looks great . . and a plus that it comes with keyboard and mouse. Easy set up, out of the box and ready to go. Very happy with my Best Buy purchase.

We were looking to replace an old laptop that quit working, and this was the perfect replacement. The large screen is wonderful, I like that the cpu is incorporated into the back of the screen so it takes up SO much less space, and you can't go wrong with the wireless keyboard and mouse. I would have liked the processor to me a bit faster, but the i3 in this setup seems to work fine. All in all, this was a great purchase, and one I would make again in a heartbeat. You think you absolutely have to have a laptop, but at the end of the day, unless you are a student, you seem to rarely have a need to take your laptop with you, since we all have smart phones that do the exact same thing, are so much more portable and are always with us. This was a great choice for us.

My son-in-law, who is an IT tech, recommended a Lenovo computer to me. I replaced an 11-year old computer with this all-in-one computer, and I am extremely happy with it. It is fast, efficient, and easy to use for someone who is technology challenged. I especially love the wireless keyboard, and mouse. Another feature is a video camera with a cover that is built into the monitor. This computer has only 3 cords and without a tower, it looks great on my desk. For the price and value, this computer can't be beat!

I bought this for school when the laptop I originally wanted was out of stock. I'm not very knowledgeable with computers so the easy facilitated set up was a relief. I've used it for basic functions: zoom, word, and canvas predominately. Does well. I didn't think I was going to utilize the touch screen feature of the monitor, however, I have. Understandably the computer slows down when I have multiple programs open at the same time. Good value.

This may not be a good choice for gaming but if you need something for work/school with a whole lot of memory this is a great option. It is sleek, not taking up much space but does a lot at a low price point. I bought it for my HS student for virtual school but I use it for work too. I didn't break my bank and he is ahead of the game while other students struggled with used malfunctioning borrowed equipment from the public school system. Good for parents/students during a pandemic!!

With the COVID craziness, I wanted my daughter to have something bigger that she could use while school instruction is being done online. She already has a Chromebook but she was complaining the screen was too small, besides, she wanted to play Minecraft and Roblox with her friends. The other thing she asked for was a touch screen. This is far from a powerhouse of a computer, but it's way better than the lower-end systems I tested. So far it's done everything she's demanded out of it.
As far as speed - the weak part I've found with systems around this price range is a slow hard drive. While this doesn't have an SSD, it's pretty fast on booting up and loading applications. Even running a couple apps, 8GB is more than sufficient for the student stuff she's going to be doing.
My only complaint is the plastic cable manager broke when I attached it. Kind of annoying but minor in the grand scheme of things. I actually just used the Velcro wrap in place of the plastic part and all's good in the world.
If you're looking for a student computer or you want something that can do more than just put you on the WWW... this machine's not bad.

This is a great working desktop. As a teacher I needed a reasonable priced desktop with a nice size screen and this computer provided that for me. I didn't give it a 5 star only because I am still experience a few slow moments when I have multiple tabs open while I am Zooming with my class. I do understand it is because only has 8GB. Overall works pretty well. Problems: it runs slow when starting up and sometimes randomly through out using it. I use it for school. The key board that came with it, some of the buttons do not work. The buttons for turning the value up/down/mute, does not work.
