Superior computer. Very high quality touch and feel to keyboard. Solid built. Extremely fast. Speakers are forward facing and LOUD via JBL audio system engineering. Huge screen. HINT if you can't figure out how to activate the wireless keyboard and mouse ? When you open the battery compartment of the mouse, you will see a small shiny black thing in there. It looks like part of the mouse, but it's not, its the USB plug in to make the wireless keyboard/mouse operate. Just plug it in and go. LENOVO....why are there three separate numbers on the bottom of the mouse to select...800, 1600 and 3200. There were no instructions about this. Can you advise? Thanks.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaCentre A540-27 All-In-One system. The three settings on the bottom of the mouse: 800, 1600 and 3200 are DPI sensitivity settings for the mouse. DPI is the standard used to measure the mouse sensitivity, expressed as the number of DPIs (dots per linear inch) that a device can detect. By changing the DPI, you can instantly adjust pointer speed for precision tasks, such as in-game targeting or photo editing. Lenovo

Shipping was awesome. No damage and package was packed snug and unbreakable. Assembly really nothing to do. Pull from box plug in. Keyboard great mouse great all charged. Monitor is amazing. Program for Lenovo is a lil sketchy. Then Microsoft wants to download everything and sync. Then uf your Google lover you have to figure out all the syncing and downloading. This is all normal and you have to with any setup. But its fast doing it. Mine cane with trial virus pro. It expired. I purchased a year of the McAfee 5 days before expired and it still pop-up i was about to loose my virus pro. Im still not sure I have it. But then micro and Lenovo say I'm covered with there stuff. This gets frustrating. Lenova will sync to your phone. Its an actual screen that is your actual phone. But its kinda annoying cuz everything pops up on computer. Its a preference and you can set up how ya want. So I have always had a problem with photos. For some reason I can not figure out how to download to one spot I choose. Then some of disk read some dont. Im sure its operator fault. But I have multiple copies of hundreds of photos. Somehow one drive is loading and syncing. Google is backing up. My phone dumped some somewhere in lenova files. I hate this part. Good luck with that. Like I said operator error im sure. So the monitor color is beautiful. Speed is great. I havent saved anything but photos. Size and space is perfect. Those who don't like all-in-one's must have a large business or they game or i dont know, but i love it. Small business owner 35 year family owned welding shop. 2 kids. Softballers. Lakebums. Adventures. Thats us! So there's alot of stuff being done, downloaded, created and sent from this computer!

I love the computer, pic quality, keyboard, all of it. But the camera!!! Ugh. I’m so sad that the quality is not what it was in store and that I missed the exchange date by 3 days!!!!!! I feel like I just don’t have patience to go through Lenovo and given the amount paid, can’t stand the thought of needing it fixed not even a month after purchase. Ugh. I may try Lenovo-maybe they will make it easy-and will update if I do.

Hello we are sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue with the camera on your Lenovo IdeaCentre A540 27" model # F0EK007HUS. This unit features a Full HD 1080p front facing camera. If you are experiencing quality less than this. Be sure to remove the clear plastic covering that is affixed to the lens of the webcam before use. This clear tape is very hard to see, but it is necessary to protect the webcam lens during shipment. Also, be sure the Privacy Shutter is completely open before trying to use the webcam or the webcam will not operate. If you need further assistance please don't hesitate to tech out to Lenovo tech support at 877-453-6686 Lenovo

I love this Lenovo AIO. I thought it didn't have enough USB ports, and then I realized there were some on the back, and some on the side of the back panel. That helped a bit. The keyboard and mouse that comes with it aren't good, though. I think they should have a bluetooth mouse/keyboard combo included so that you dont have to use up a USB port. Plus, the combo should be rechargeable. Who uses batteries anymore?! The i5, 12GB of RAM, and SSD are lightning quick. I have a new Zenbook with an i7 and the desktop is much faster in all ways. The cameras quality isnt that great. It has a green tint whenever you have a backlight.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaCentre A540-27 All-In-One system. The wireless keyboard that ships with this model does have a rechargeable internal battery. It recharges by using the USB-c to USB cable that is included with the computer. Plug the USB-c side into the front of the keyboard and the USB side into any USB port on the computer. The wireless mouse uses one 4-A battery which is included. This model also ships with a 1080p (FHD) IR webcam for high quality broadcast video. If you are getting a cloudy broadcast video picture, be sure the plastic lens protection sheeting that the webcam ships with has been removed. If the issue continues, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 866-426-0911. Lenovo

I love the ease of set up with this computer and the monitor size is great and the picture quality I think is beautiful. It starts up fast which is a huge plus for me. I have 3 complaints I purchased this computer in March of this year (2020) and on several occasions the speaker quality begins to sound like robots out of the blue and on many occasions I cant get the computer to come out of sleep mode. I can press on a key or tap the mouse and nothing. I try holding down the power button to reboot and that wont work either. I literally have to unplug the computer and plug it back in to turn it back on. I bought the 3 year geek squad protection plan from best Buy and was finally able to take it in after months because of Covid just to be told they think its a software problem and I am not covered for that under my protection plan that thats another plan I would have to pay for. FRUSTRATING that Ive only had this computer a few months and paid alot of money for it and already having these kinds of issues. My last complaint is the Keyboard, I have gone through 3 charging cables because they get loose and wont charge the keyboard. I think it would've been nice if the keyboard could also be charged by placing on the base of the monitor like we can with out phones.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo IdeaCentre A540-27 All-In-One system. Regarding the audio quality, be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. Regarding waking the IdeaCentre A540-27 AIO from sleep, pushing the power button for approximately 1-second - not holding it down, just a quick 1-second push of the power button, should wake the computer from sleep. If not, here is a link to a YouTube video about fixing this issue via software adjustments:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMJ_H7i-Rwc Lenovo

I have really enjoyed having this desktop setup. This is the first time without a tower and it is really nice to save the space. The unit runs much quieter than my last desktop with the tower as well. The picture quality and responsiveness has been wonderful and so far it has worked perfectly. This is my first Lenovo. I've really been impressed with it and now have a Lenovo laptop as well that has been amazing.

This computer is sufficient for my work-from-home needs as all I need is a big screen with high resolution and the touchscreen effect is a neat additional feature. However, if you need more storage capacity or rendering capability you may want to get the upgraded model. It's also a little annoying that the charging pad on the computer stand doesn't charge the wireless keyboard or mouse, but it works to charge cell phones. I'm not sure the additional features for the upgraded model is worth double the price tag though.

I did not want to purchase another laptop & did not want to deal with another deaktop but wanted something with all the modern items on a pc. I did not know much about the all in one PC’s and after visiting the BestBuy store and demonstrated the PC, I was hook. I needed a new pc since I work from home. Did not want to deal with 2 monitors but wanted to get a big enough monitor that would work for me. This PC have and more than what I expected. Works great for any tasks that is needed for a pc. I have had it for 3 months and have not had any issues for an all in one PC. I believe the all in ones is way to go when it comes to buy a new PC. I recommend it.

I am pretty happy overall with this particular all-in-one. I did buy another keyboard like the one that came with it was not backlit. I then bought a Hyper X for 40 dollars that is perfect without complexity. Now, on the computer, sometimes when I type I get a series of repeat letters in a continual line or have to hit the space bar a lot to separate words. This issue is not continual but happens often enough. Tech said it was a problem with the memory chip. Now, one chip is glued to the board, the other is not. It has two bars of memory. The case below the screen is a huge pain to open, so know that if you must work on it, be ready! The screen is great, large enough, and easy to expand any views using the windows 11 landscape stretch button. Love the screen. There is no C.D. ROM drive but there is a card reader. I would have loved a ROM drive but I did pick one up and a USB C expansion bar, so the CD is no issue. The sound is very good on its own, unlike other machines I have owned. However, I use very high-end headphones and so I bought a Dragonfly black USB DOC amp to use on this machine to enhance the sound too pro levels. I do like Lenovo products and was a fan of the old IBM Think Pads even when Lenovo bought them out. Lenovo puts out a great product. Do expect to pay around 700-1200 for a top-quality machine without bells and whistles. All in all, Lenovo has been very relieabe in general.

In fact, I still use the other Lenovo as a backup and it works perfectly at nearly 6 years old. You won't be disappointed with the IdeaCentre A540. It's really impressive. I've been using this computer for about a month and am quite pleased with it (so far). Came over from windows 7 so it's been a bit of a learning curve as 10 has a lot of differences. PROS: Bright, clear screen Boots quickly and has not faltered with multiple tabs working SSD - no hard drive whine Small footprint on desk Induction charger in base is handy CONS: Internal sub woofer is scratchy and distorted except low volume No internal optical drive (something I needed - got an external) Only 5 USB ports (so I got a hub) Internal SD card reader hard to get to and very tight (may loosen with use) OVERALL: I'm pleased with the unit. Wife liked it so well she had me get one for her work-from-home use.

Bought this for the wife, and she loves it. Very fast and responsive, comes with great specs. Works with windows hello via a slide out camera that can easily be hidden. The base of the computer is also a wireless charger which works well. Wonderful display quality There are a limited amount of USB ports, so a hub might be wise to get too if you’re using a lot of USB ports or need easier access to the port for removable devices. Has Bluetooth connectivity too
