Easy to set up and very user friendly. I don’t see well, and (using Windows 10) enlarged the monitor image. Between the large Lenovo screen and enlarged image it’s perfect. Recommend to anyone.

The monitor is bigger than I thought but it is amazing. It's fast and exactly what I wanted. I bought a laptop as well for on the go that also works as a dual screen. You won't regret this purchase!

You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If you ever need additional help with your Lenovo computer, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

The large screen and SSD speed are a plus while utilizing this system. The ability to raise or hide the camera is quite handy. The touch-screen feature is useful and time-saving. The dongle that is retrieved from the rear of the mouse to attach to the back of the screen allows the mouse to be operated wirelessly. The cost is very reasonable, enough so that I might get one for myself.

The mouse uses replaceable one time use batteries and the keyboard uses an internal, rechargeable battery that is charged with the included Micro-USB to USB cable. Just plug the Micro-USB side of the cable into the front of the keyboard, then plug the standard USB side of the cable into any USB port on the computer. You can use the keyboard while it is charging.

We love the additional space we have gained by removing all parts from our old computer; hard drive, cables, etc. The large screen is idea for reading and viewing pictures. The only reason I did not give this a 5 star rating is because we are still learning all the new features that come with the Lenovo, and there are many. What we have experienced so far is excellent and amazing.

The keyboard charges its internal battery with the included USB to USB-c cable. Once the internal keyboard battery is charged (LED light on the keyboard turns green) you can unplug the charging cable and use the keyboard wirelessly. There is also a Premium Wireless Mouse, Grey that uses replaceable batteries.
Excellent AIO

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a desktop immediately and this 27" Lenovo was one of the few remaining options for an AIO that met most of my specifications. Surprisingly - I am in love. The 27" screen with the higher than standard resolution is perfect for both video and text (I write all day long). 4K would be overkill, so not needed in a monitor of this size, at least for my purposes. And I really missed having a touch screen, so great to have that option again. For even 1.8Ghz, this computer is responsive with even the more CPU intensive programs such as Illustrator and Corel Painter. At least initially. Hopefully when I get into working with each of these programs I don't experience much lagging. It is a 6 core processor. The speaker is good! Another surprise. It's in the base and I find it be adequate for Zoom meetings and background audio and music. Having a camera on the top of the monitor is invaluable. Didn't have one on my previous 4K monitor, so had to constantly move my laptop in front of my big screen for Zoom, but then couldn't see my screen. And didn't want to add a camera with yet another cord to the top of that monitor. The base on this machine is solid, heavy. Have to be careful when moving the machine to resist picking it up by the monitor and to scoot the base to where I can get my hands under it. It is that heavy, which is great for stability. It's a nice looking machine. The photos don't do it justice. The rose gold arm looks weird in the photo, but from a user's perspective, you don't see much of it but a bit of the curve of the base, and it is pretty. Different from other types of AIO setups. After some investigating, both the RAM and SSD drive storage can be upgraded (to 24 RAM and 1TB SSD), so if this computer continues to behave as smoothly as it is currently behaving, I can add more memory down the road. Overall, a nice machine and worth the slightly more than $1K that I paid for it!

So I decided to swtich to Lenovo. So far to good. My only concern is it can get a little hot after spending a few hours on the monitor. My other concern are the ports not enoug. But so far I do enjoy the large screen. My only other concern would be the key board it would be nice to be fully wireless without having to charge it.

Once the wireless keyboard internal battery is fully charged, you can unplug the charging cord and use the keyboard wirelessly. Regarding the IdeaCentre A540-27 AIO getting warm, the computer will feel warm to the touch as workload increases, this is normal. If you feel the IdeaCentre A540-27 AIO is getting too warm, we recommend you make an appointment with your local Best Buy Store Geek Squad and have the Geek Squad examine your computer to be sure it is running properly. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software can make your computer work harder, thereby increasing the system temperature. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, you can also contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.
