I understand open box does mean used before by someone else. There were 2 options at the time of purchase. (1) Open Box (2) Open Box Geek Squad Certified.. I went with Certified hoping that meant computer was thoroughly checked and Windows factory reseted. Well that wasn't the case on initial boot up Windows would not post, keep going into recovery mode. Recovery mode wouldnt allow a factory reset. Then I make a portable Windows 11 flash drive to wipe and re-load, cannot install Windows 11 bios was messed up and a bunch of normal settings switched around. Had to change the settings in order to get the drive to show during setup.. Feel like if I am paying "extra" for an item due to it being "Geek Squad Certified" it should be more thoroughly checked. I had no intent to waste over an hour trying to get a like new pc to actually work. Otherwise I would've just bought a new.

It didn’t and the keyboard and mouse didn’t work. So we had to order another wireless keyboard and mouse from Amazon.

Be sure to get a protection plan before you take it home because $400 to fix this piece of garbage

I recomend this product!!

While I believe this would be a good computer had it been new, the open box certified version didn't work. Turned on great, but wanted me to login to a business or school account. Finally got it working where I could use my personal account. Went to update Windows and said I didn't have a valid license or product key. Bought a new HP, returned this one.
