After many hours of research I choose this laptop. This thing is fast, storage was a bit lite on the hard-drive size so I upgraded it to 1tb. Wish I would have upgraded sooner, would have saved so much time and frustration with my older laptops. Not huge into games, but runs SIMS 4 without issue. Mostly used for Office and light video / photo editing which it runs great.

It seems fast enough to do everything I want and loads fast. My biggest complaint that I don't see getting used to as I use a couple other devices is... The mouse buttons on the keyboard. When I hit the primary button on the right most of the time I hit the left function mouse button instead as its in its spot. They area each really long so the primary one is hard left and the secondary is taking up both spots on most systems. It appears as one long key with no distinct feeling to guide you. I will probably just hook up a secondary mouse as I do that often with laptops anyways. Besides this it looks and feels solid so far.

You can adjust the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 11 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. Fast Speeds and Affordable Price Tag

This laptop is affordable and has very good specs considering that fact. Ryzen graphics and processors are just as good as an i7 so take the price reduction and go for a Ryzen processor. I purchased in store and was trying out several computers speeds at simple tasks like search and spreadsheet navigation and this was my favorite in that regard. The graphics are also good in my opinion. If you want to hook up a traditional Ethernet cable you will need an adapter as with many newer laptops and it runs Windows 11 which is a small learning curve and has strange extra steps for things like renaming files.

If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 11 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. Good laptop for light gaming

I haven’t done school yet but it’s a good gaming laptop I play sims 4. The only problem is it comes in “s mode” Which basically means you can only download things from the windows store. Which in my opinion is good for kids if you don’t want them downloading harmful content. But overall the fans are pretty quiet while playing. The back gets pretty hot but I think a cooling fan would help with that. Speakers sound fine as well
