I've never used Lenovo before, but I'm liking it so far. The gray color with the black keys is very easy to work with. The camera seems to be pretty good. Nothing is perfect, so I don't usually give 5 stars. I haven't been quite as happy with the battery life. It only lasts about 5 hours before I have to charge it.

Uninstall Bloatware

I recommend using an uninstalling software like Revo Uninstaller to uninstall everything except the essentials. This will drastically improve your performance. Make sure you also disable “s mode” so you can download software outside of the Microsoft store.

Posted .This Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15 Laptop, model number 82R4002PUS, ships with just two adware programs, a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 (as part of Windows 11 operating system) and a 30-day trial of McAfee virus protection. Lenovo computers ship with one of the cleanest factory software installs within the consumer computer industry. This IdeaPad 1 15 laptop ships with Windows 11 S-Mode, 64-bit Operating System installed. Windows 11 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 11 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost.
