Windows 11 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 11 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. Good Computer but won't connect to wifi

I've updated all the drivers, window 11 files, and checked the drivers for the wireless router that we use. But this computer won't connect unless its hooked up via a Cat 6 cable. Lenovo support suggest that I take it into Geek Squad to have them look at it, but I'm not wanting to pay extra money for something that should be out of the box to begin with. All of our other computers work just fine, but this one just won't connect.

This model configuration ships with WiFi-6, wide range/high speed - 2x2 802.11ax frequency WiFi and is backward compatible with older a/b/g/n/ac frequency WiFi. If you can not connect to your home WiFi network and you are finding no driver updates available for WiFi on this device, you can directly update/reinstall the WiFi Driver within the Windows 11 Operating System on this Laptop.
