It's not a bad laptop but if it was a little bit faster it'd be better, there's a couple of games I like to play but unfortunately they're not available on this laptop

All in all, it’s a good laptop, it gets the job done for very mundane things. I use it for personal worksheets and studying.
There are times in which it lags.

I’m very disappointed with this laptop. The internet keeps disconnecting randomly, even though my Wi-Fi works perfectly with other devices. I’ve tried updating drivers and changing settings, but nothing helps. It’s really frustrating, especially when working or streaming. I wouldn’t recommend this model to anyone.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that you have experienced an issue and encountered some pain points with your IdeaPad. We wish to provide the best experience possible, so if you'd like, we want to work with you to try to improve this experience.
To start, this model is an entry level, light use system designed for singular, non-demanding tasks. Should you feel you are using the device for its intended use and still experiencing a performance issue, we recommend searching for and applying any available updates through Windows Update Settings. Also, ensure that your home Wi-Fi network is compatible with, and is capable of supplying your laptop with sufficient bandwidth to deliver the performance you desire for internet-based tasks.
Also, regarding the touchpad issue, to help remedy this, first, in Windows Settings, follow these steps to get to touchpad settings: Bluetooth & Devices > Touchpad. There should be an option to toggle the touchpad here, please ensure it is on. Also, there is a touchpad toggle tied to a function key on the keyboard, F6, which can be used to toggle the touchpad on and off.
We hope that the information shared helps provide some insight and understanding that may improve your sentiments and experience with the system.
Please let us know what else we can do to improve your experience, as your satisfaction is important to us.
Best regards, Lenovo

I needed a portable computer for my hobby and this one works very well for that project. With it having been on sale at the time it, wasn't a budget breaker.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your IdeaPad 1. We apologize for the inconvenience that this may be causing you, and we'd like to work with you to resolve this issue.
To start, regarding performance and stability, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.
With the touchpad, to first ensure it is toggled on, in Windows Settings, follow these steps to get to touchpad settings: Bluetooth & Devices > Touchpad, and ensure it is set to on. Next, if touchpad issues persist after it being toggled on and system updates, under the touchpad toggle, there should be an option to toggle touchpad options there. Also, under the "Taps" option in this part of the menu, you can adjust touchpad sensitivity.
We hope that this helps, and please update us when you can regarding this. You can reach out to us again via the Q&A section of the product page should you have any questions or need further assistance.
