The free year of office was a huge plus, but its portability was what surprised me. I ended up taking it with me to school every day. It's lightweight and just big enough to do work on. It has a decent battery life too. The only bad thing is that it slows down significantly if I try to do more than two things at a time (open browser and word.) I knew that when I bought it though. Great if you're looking for simple basics of a laptop.

If you are looking for a simple laptop, and a chromebook won't work for you, this is a deal. It won't run heavy programs, but for Office 365 and web browsing, it's perfectly suitable.

Good Laptop for web browsing and MS Office

The reason I gave it 3 stars is the bloatware please please delete all the bloatware it slows down the laptop. I bought this laptop for 120 open-box for my mother but if your expending more than 250 you can get something better maybe a chromebook or ipad if you can live without windows. If your more techie and you can delete all the bloatware this will serve the purpose if its too slow just throw ubuntu and use google docs.
