Just what I needed for school

I was tired of lugging a heavy laptop around in my backpack and this solved my issue. It weighs about 3 lbs., so it is much lighter than a regular laptop. It comes with Office 360 for a year, so it has everything I needed pre-loaded. To install other programs I bought a 128 gb SD card. So far I love the thing. For the price this is a great buy.

You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.

Two things I wish Lenovo could change. 1. If the power adapter is USB-C, it will be more portable 2. 32GB flash for storage is really minimum considering dropbox does not allow you to have the fold on portable drive. you have to put it to C drive... that is really not much space..

But, using the following trick, I am back to 10.8GB available space in C: (after ALL W10 updates, Chrome, Adobe Rdr, VPN,... installed): 1. Keep USB stick, size > 8 GB inserted. 2. In Settings->Storage, indicate new contents to be downloaded to USB drive. 3. When W10 update fails, let it use USB drive. (cf. attached pictures)

Good for a second laptop

However, he has difficult time using it because of the way email is delivered on Win10. Not the pc's fault, but no user instructions for seniors is a negative. Not recommeded as a primary laptop, not enough speed.

There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.
