It is the perfect size - not so tiny that I can't easily read emails or see entire pages and not so big that it is a burden to take along on the road. It was super easy to set up and the tutorials are great. Only drawback is the storage size but you can always add an external drive or just closely manage your storage.

It is small and light for her to carry in her bag. I believe it is a great purchase and price (below $200) for the specs and so far it is working quite well.

It really can’t be used for more then browsing websites and answering emails.

However, if you intend to use the laptop as a computer to take to school and not worry too much if it got lost or dropped, I'd recommend it, just as long as you only need to do homework that is not at all graphic intensive. I use mine for writing and some web browsing in between classes and it works well for that. The build quality seems pretty nice to me, especially considering the price and it's light and small enough to fit into a back pack. The battery life is also very impressive with about 5 or 6 hours at default settings. It is kind of a specialty laptop and works great for what I use it for. Just make sure if you buy it you know what you're getting as far as speed and capability goes. 4GB of ram would be nice but it is a very low cost device. Very recommended for a college student looking for a cheap laptop to type notes or do some basic homework in between classes.

I know a lot of people were not able to receive the item for $100. But this is a steal for $100! I love carrying it around my university campus and throw it around and use it on a daily basis.
