    Refuses refund on Norton comp didn't support

    computer is great. however when trying to download "free trial of Norton" it wouldn't support it. you have to put in your credit card information, and we got charged $94 for norton service we never used or downloaded. Best Buy WILL NOT refund this service even if never downloaded or used. I spent hours trying to get it back w/ zero results. i will never purchase from best buy again.

    This computer is a glorified paper weight. It shuts down randomly and takes forever to start up

Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, ensuring all available updates are applied completely.

    More then VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I had a system failure with this computer. It took over a month to resolve of being on the telephone with lenovo to rectifie, somewhat, the problem. For me I spent 25% of my income to purchase this disappointing piece of junk. I'm now stuck with this...... It still drops out of wifi and reconnects all on its own. Never will recommend this brand to anyone!

      We're not sure what steps you followed with Lenovo Support, so to start, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the wireless connectivity issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button. (If your device is not in Windows 11 Home in S mode) Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button and apply all available updates.

    Pc vs iMac

    For me I didn’t like because I’m an apple person. Returned it for a iMac. For me made more sense. Bought it from Best Buy. Very happy!!!!!!!!!!

    Less than a week and no wi-fi connectivity

    I think the update on 12/20/24 knocked my wi-fi connection out and I can’t get it back even after uninstalling the update. It is not my router or provider because my tvs and cell phones connect to wi-fi perfectly. FRUSTRATING!

    I bought a HP and took it to Geek dept. They GeekSquad said it was not compatable to what I had so he went and pulled another computer A Lenovo. I am having a hard time because it is not like what I had. I feel I have spent almost 500 dollars for nothing. They were told I wanted another HP.

      The advertised battery life claims are determined by using the device in a specific scenario that can help achieve the best battery life possible. During test like these, the conditions you may be using your IdeaPad can vary greatly depending on device settings, the workload the laptop is under, and more.

      By default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend utilizing the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). You can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds.

    Don't do it

    Sounds too good to be true? It is. The laptop worked fine for one evening. The next morning: not so much. It no longer detects any USB drive (including the mouse). Then the first restart ended in a frozen blue screen after a hard restart (soft restart failed.) Returning it today.

    Piece of crap laptop

    The laptop looses internet connection- goes to airplane mode without doing anything- have had the laptop only for 20 days and the internet connection gets disconnected almost everyday. Previously owned a Lenovo laptop no issues

    No spyware wanted for me!

    I returned this and got an hp on my son in laws advice due to spyware that is in it and cant be controlled. He works in Federal security and has witnessed the cursor moving and files opening with no one touching the keyboard. Why is anyone selling these!

    Bad screen in less than a month

    Black spot on screen after three weeks, Best Buy tried to come up an excuse to not fix it (screen burn-in, etc). Would not buy again and would not buy from Best Buy.

    Geek squad could not get my yahoo email on the new computer. went back three times and no success. so with that I had no choice but to return it
