I purchased this laptop as a gift for my husband, who is currently completing his PhD. He had his old laptop since the beginning of high school and it started to lose some basic but important functions, powering down unexpectedly, sound would randomly not output, typical issues associated with that "dinosaur" age technology. He loved that laptop, though, so I was nervous to take the chance and buy him something different without consulting him. I did my research, bought it, I am so glad I did. He LOVES the new system; the battery lasts through all of his classes AND the lectures he teaches during the day. The interface is great, sound quality is fantastic, and he really likes the spacing of the keys on the keyboard. The screen is the perfect size for him to pull up multiple windows, and the storage seems to be enough for all of the papers and articles he downloads (which are a lot). He is someone who is very loyal to things he has had for a long time (which is why he put up with a laptop functioning at 30% capacity for so long) - and he LOVES this new laptop so much that he took the full plunge and transferred ALL the data from the old one and has since gotten rid of it. That may not sound like much, but this is also the same man who refuses to throw away old sneakers that a friend got him for his 17th birthday that he can no longer even wear because of the holes in them. All this to say, this Lenovo laptop is Sentimental Husband approved!

I bought this for my duaghter for school work. For the price you cant go wrong. Very nice laptop. Sleek and light weight. Works fast and battery lasts a while. The touch screen is a nice extra feature.

It's been many years since i've purchased a computer. I really like the size and weight of this one. The only thing I don't like is that I can't install Chrome. It seems they only want me to use Bing. The other thing is that there is no Excel without paying extra and I don't want to pay for just one spreadsheet. I have Office on a cd but there is no cd slot. Other than that, I really like it so far, much faster than my old computer and has touch screen. It was one of the least expensive ones that I could find. It's worth the price I paid. I'll just have to find someone who knows what they are doing to help me around the issues of getting Chrome and using the one spreadsheet I need. Overall good purchase.

Let me start by saying that I am far from a computer expert but I know enough to get me by. I can't speak to technical operating specs but I know when the computer works properly for my applications. As a professional automotive technician, I needed a reasonably priced, good laptop to run vehicle manufacturer specific diagnostic programs for vehicle diagnostics and programming with hardware such as a j2534 passthru. This Lenovo laptop has Windows 11 in S mode which needs to be switched out of to allow program downloads. The screen is a nice size and very crisp as well as being touchscreen, the mouse pad is very responsive and easy to use and the battery life appears good although I rarely use it off the charger for more than a couple hours at a time. This computer does everything that I have needed it to do and has done it well. I purchased for less than $300 and consider it a great value for what it is. 5 stars from me, no complaints.

Very fast and easy to use. I set this up for my parents. Easy to follow instructions. Got it for Black Friday. They are not use to the touch screen. Very light and easy to carry around compared to what I had in my college days. SSD can't go wrong with that. Has an easy micro card reader so you can expand the memory since I had extra micro cards laying around since the new Samsung phones did away with the expandable memory.

In my experience, excellent device and performance for the price and expectations. Battery life is more in the 8 hour range for me, touchscreen is bright and responsive, handles basic games easily, multi-tasks well. Have to take it out of S mode to install anything not in the Microsoft store, (ex. alternative productivity software) but that isn't difficult and everything is working smoothly so far (about 3 weeks in). Purchased on sale for around $300 which made it an excellent value IMO.

This was a great deal when I bought it. Bought it for my mother who is elderly and enjoys watching videos on her phone. She very much enjoys the big 15 inch screen compared to her phone. Also, this laptop comes with a touchscreen which makes it very easy to use even for someone who never uses a computer. It is quick enough and has enough memory for her to store all her photos. Its not the lightest laptop, but that okay. Overall I would recommend this laptop for someone looking for everyday use like internet browsing, video streaming, etc.

My husband bought me this Lenovo Ideapad laptop and I couldn't be happier! The keypad has excellent response and is very comfortable. Although I don't use the touch screen much, it does come in handy! It's so great to not have to lug my work laptop home each day because my Lenovo does everything I need for home and work as well. But the price was the BEST part! This Lenovo does everything my work laptop does and for under $300! Fabulous purchase. So happy to have this gem!!

This is a very affordable product and perfect for my needs. I'm not a gamer so i can't speak on those aspects, but overall i can do all the web surfing, video meetings, email and document management that I need. I'm very satisfied with the speed, the screen display and the battery life. The touch screen isan added bonus that I want looking for but it's nice to have. Would definitely purchase again!

Like this Lenovo with windows 11. BUT, I had to have the "S" mode part of it deleted. You can't even download the firefox browser in S Mode. And the reason I personally couldn't delete the S mode is I refuse to open a Microsoft account. If you don't create a Microsoft acct. you can't access the simple app to delete the s mode. Microsoft is simply getting too intrusive intro people's business. The computer itself is fast, and fairly easy to work with, once you get used to some of windows 11 little quirks. The touch screen is a great plus

I've had more than two Lenovo devices. They are worth their price. Luv this Ideapad! The "Touch" is very user friendly. The refresh rate on the hertz allows for smooth transition of new images. The "15.6 display allows for easy carry and using my lap when not at a table. Thin and light weight. I will buy this again if needed! Yes I recommend any Lenovo device!

My previous 4GB unit was quickly running out of storage after just 2 1/2 years. I compose and record music which I then transfer into my computer for a permanent archive and foundation for burning cds. This Lenovo has 8GB so I believe it will remain adequate for my purposes for quite some time. I was pleased this computer arrived with Windows 11 installed. I enjoy utilizing many of the features which are user friendly. Touch screen usage is frequently handy although I revert to wireless mouse for a more nimble navigation experience. The construction of this unit seems very solid compared to my inexpensive HP I had used. Humorously, Best Buy raised the price $200 a couple days after my purchase !

Glad I chose this one as an upgrade from my old Dell laptop. This works fast and the screen has a clear picture. It has everything that I need including Microsoft Office. I love the touch screen to quickly access items on the screen. Set up was easy. All my old files from my Dell automatically transferred to this Lenova. Made it easy to start doing my thing,

I bought this to replace my older laptop that was finally slowing down. The lenovo was a big upgrade and the fact that it's touch screen is a bonus. I use it for web browsing, streaming movies and office use and it excels at all of them. Excellent value and a notable step from entry level offerings.

Bought this to replace an HP laptop. It has adequate storage and memory for my needs. Seems well built with good placement of power switch and ports. Got it at a good price for a touch screen laptop. Battery is great so far.

I bought this laptop for personal use as well as business use. I like the simplicity of the device and the keyboard feedback as well as the large screen. Portability is easy as it is very lightweight. Battery life is a bit subpar, in my opinion, so expect to need to charge it fairly rapidly if you are going to be using it on the go much. It is as good as you can buy at its price point, so if you are looking for an all-in-one laptop for every day use for personal and business purposes, then you will be happy you purchased this. If you want a capable system to run games on, you’re in the wrong category.

So far this is a very compatant computer for the price. Nice sized screen, not so light that it doesn't feel sturdy, sound quality for a laptop isn't bad and it seems fairly fast. Mostly used for editing photos, watching videos and general online activities. So far so good, time will tell if it lasts...but nithing leads me to believe it won't right now.

Absolutely great computer for the money! Having the touchscreen is great if you miss place your mouse. The comphter is light weight and lasts a while on just the battery! Great little laptop! Definitely recommended!!
