I have had This brand before and loved it, my mistake was buying for the price… horrible to watch videos (poor picture quality) poor battery life … just a pure disappointment. Going forward I will spend a little more for a better machine

It only works for about 30 minutes at a time before it goes to the blue screen error and needs to be shut down and restarted. It does not matter what program is in use. The laptop has become a source of frustration and lost work for us and I wish I had instead purchased something more reliable and a support plan to go with it! For the price I did not expect the fastest or fanciest experience, but I did expect the laptop to work for basic functions. I also wish I had read the negative reviews more closely because it looks like I am not the only one getting a repeated blue screen stop after only a short time of use on this device.

Which is what we bought it for. Suggest using one drive for more storage of files. Wouldn’t suggest for gaming or rendering etc.

But just two days ago there was a bios update that killed the laptop. Nothing comes up anymore when you turn it on. No beeps. No bios. Nothing. This was a len recommend update. Yet they don't want to fix it because warranty is over (by one month). I checked forums and others had problems with black screen with no solutions. I would not buy this brand again.

Posted .This Lenovo IdeaPad 3i 15 Laptop, model number 81X800MCUS, was first available for sale on: 2022-05-04. If you have a similar but older model of this Lenovo IdeaPad 3i 15 Laptop, resetting the computer back to original factory settings may correct the issue you are having. Power off the computer and plug in the AC adapter/charger that shipped with your Lenovo Laptop, with the computer still powered off. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the right side of the device, right near the SD card Slot on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes, with the power off. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. If the problem persists after the factory reset, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support for paid assistance at: 877-453-6686.
