The screen size strikes the perfect balance between usability as a tablet, and as a small computer. The included keyboard and cover mean you aren't shelling out for additional accessories right off the bat if you don't want. The chromebook FEELS like it's high quality, with a nice weight to it. The screen is vibrant, and the machine feels pretty snappy. Note that it's not designed to be your workhorse with 20 tabs + a ton of other apps. But if you keep your work & use focused, this will not let you down.

This is a $300 devices. Keep your expectations in check. It is a 10" tablet, so that means the keyboard will be a little cheap, and it will have to be a little cramped and small to fit the 10" form factor. With all that being said, this is a great tablet. Also, please note that Android apps don't even work well with all android tablets, let alone Chromebook tablets. Here's a tip: Go to chrome, go to your favorite website, like hulu, netflix, or Facebook, and tap the 3 dots on the top right hand corner. Then go to "more tools" and then select "create a shortcut". Name the shortcut whatever you want. When you click "create shortcut", it will essentially make this web page an app. If you click open as new window, it will open that shortcut just like an app, so you won't see the www. toolbar at the top of the web page, making it feel like a true app, and in many ways, it will be WAY BETTER. So if you try to use Chrome for most things, it is very fast, and works great! The Pintrest app doesn't work well, so just use the web page and make a shortcut! Do the same for every app you use, and you will love it!!! It works well, multi-tasking is quick, And realistically, it will get like 8 years of updates! Android tablets get 2 years of updates, and in my opinion, this device is better than the Galaxy Tab A from Samsung, even better than the 3 GB of RAM version. And unlike the Galaxy Tab S5e this comes with a keyboard, All in all, it's the best tablet you can find for around $300 in the Android/Chrome world, if you set your expectations right, and if you know how to use it: Android apps are always a last resort, try using the web and making shortcuts first, if you do that, you will be pretty happy, just don't abandon your faster Pixel Slate or your more expensive devices, because remember, this is a $300 device, and it performs like one too.

I was looking for a portable laptop, Chromebook or tablet to take on short trips or to use around the house for light work/tasks (browsing the internet, checking email, etc.). I was originally deciding between the Lenovo Chromebook Duet (Duet) and an Android tablet (specifically the Samsung Tab S6 Lite). I bought the Tab S6 Lite, but from the moment I started using it I wasn't happy with the performance. It seemed slow and sluggish. I then saw the Duet went on sale shortly after, so I purchased the Duet from Best Buy to compare with the Tab S6 Lite and I was MUCH happier with the Duet. The Duet was much more responsive, plus it has longer support for updates than the Tab S6 Lite does. The Keyboard with the Duet is a nice bonus, but I ended up buying a third party cover/case off the internet as I didn't want to have the keyboard rubbing against the screen. I use the Duet mostly in tablet mode, so having the keyboard readily available isn't a big deal. I can still attach the keyboard even with the third party case on, which I do if I plan to use it at a table to type a long email, document, etc. It seems well built, the screen is great and again it is very responsive. For this price point, I have no complaints...especially since a lot of other Chromebooks in this price range have lower resolution. I would definitely recommend the Chromebook Duet if you want something small and portable and since it has longer support for updates than most Android tablets.

As many customers have already expressed, owning the Lenovo Duet is a steal deal. The computer works three folded: a laptop, a Chromebook, and a tablet. I can write, read, and do personal and professional business on this laptop. The laptop is also compact; you can place it in a laptop sleeve, purse, and book bag. This is the only tablet I see that is high quality and quite inexpensive for the price. I highly recommended to anyone. It is easy to use, but you definitely get a lot of bang for your book with this device!

This a great laptop alternative. Comes with ChromeOS which lets me use android apps in a laptop-style configuration. The screen is vibrant and the OS has been speedy and stayed speedy so far. The included magnetic cover is also very well made and the material makes it easy to grasp. The magnetic keyboard mechanism is quite powerful and the keys have good feedback for their overall size. I'd recommend this to anyone wanting a laptop/tablet duo alternative on the go.

My 9-year-old niece's old Asus C100 (2015) battery finally died, so with virtual school during this "stay at home" time, we needed a new device fast. She worked really well of the Chromebook doing Clever, Microsoft Office Online with her school login, and did some Roblox on some game her old iPad mini couldn't run well. Having seen this item at CES, I had my eyes on it for her, and when stock became available, ordered it immediately. She's playing Roblox on it better than the older ARM processor on the Asus, and she loves she can remove the keyboard and prop it up with the stand to watch YouTube. Pros: - Screen. Very nice 16:10, 1080p class resolution display with over 350 nits of brightness. The size is great too, as on its own it weighs a pound. Add the back stand and the keyboard, it does go up a bit, but quality is there in clarity and build quality. - Size. Again, screen size and keyboard size for a 9 year old is perfect. Some keys are smaller than usual, so I would take some getting used to, but for a kid or in use in a cramped place like the pullout table of an airplane? No issue - Storage. While I am bummed there is no microSD card slot, I applaud Best Buy for only offering the 128GB model. For the extra $20 to get that over the base 64 on Lenovo's own site, it's a no brainer to go for the Best Buy model Cons: - Performance for HEAVY users. I gave it my use on my account with a dozen or so tabs open and 2 Google Play Store apps, and it took a bit longer than I would like to switch between them. If I had to compare it, I would say it's like a Celeron 3350 performance. For light users, working up to 5-6 tabs, it will be snappy. Get closer to double digit tabs or throw in some background android apps? Temper your expectations. For kids though? No problem. - Widevine L3. If you know, you know. Pretty much if you are getting this as a tablet for media consumption for travel offline, expect no better than 480p SD even though this is a 1080p HD screen. It's either Google's implementation of ChromeOS and Android running emulated in a sandbox, or the third party app developers like Netflix, VUDU and Amazon Prime Video for NOT optimizing their apps, but whatever it is, this affects EVERY single Chromeobok ever made. Not specific to this. I HOPED because it's an ARM based, pretty much low to mid-range phone processor it could get Widevine L1 to do 1080p, but it cannot. For the $299 price, even no sales, I recommend this to parents to grab for kids as they look to get back to school. Hopefully safe from home online, but whenever you need work to be done online, I think this is a tremendous value and familiar feel for kids who grew up with tablets to use it as such for fun, but attach the keyboard and stand when needing to get school work done. Lenovo especially has been the best when it comes to offering quality Chromebooks and this is by far one of my fun recommendations!

I would really like to give this Chromebook Tablet a 5 star rating because it really has the potential. It's certainly a great value. The included accessories (keyboard and kickstand case) are of very good quality and practical. Overall build quality is also great. Typing on the keyboard is comfortable enough. The camera isn't that good but that's okay, that wasn't my main intent for purchasing. Expected to receive updates for the next 8 years which is pretty awesome and one of the reasons I bought it. My main issue has been Wifi connection. It's very inconsistent. After doing some research, it appears to be a common issue with Lenovo chrome books. I find myself having to restart the device several times just to get it working properly. Although this fully supports the Playstore the apps aren't as smooth as they would be on an Android tablet. Images tend to get distorted and very laggy. Not the case with all apps but seems to happen with many of them. The speakers are horrible. I wasn't expecting surrounding sound or anything extragavent at this price range but the sound from these speakers is not usable at all. I almost feel like they intended for this to be used with bluetooth headset or bluetooth speakers only. I always have it at max volume and can barely hear anything. I know at this price range, expectations shouldn't too high but having a weak wifi is inexcusable and speakers should at least be decent enough. Its still a good Chromebook tablet when wifi is working and it has great build quality. I would've hoped they invested in stronger wifi antenna though.

The Lenovo Duet Chromebook ships with 2x2 WiFi 802.11 a/b/ g/ n/ac, MIMO, 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz Dual Bands WiFi connectivity. If you are loosing signal connectivity, try the Duet Chromebook on another WiFi source, see if the connectivity improves. The issue may be the router you are using. The Duet Chromebook ships with Stereo Dolby Audio speakers. For the best audio experience, be sure Dolby Audio is turned on and adjusted to your personal preferences. Lenovo

So I've finally had it long it enough to use it for all my task and it is superb. Like every reviewer this is no brainer a very good Chromebook and exceptional value. It's build quality and display are excelent really have no complaint about. I just wished there was a clamshel design option as I'm not a big fan of the detacheable KB, it's just not staple enough when in the lap. Proccessor fast enough to do my multitasking needs. The KB is functional and to me is just fine, beats typing on virtual KB anytime. Over all I'm very happy with this product and highly recommend it.

This little Chromebook is a great iPad alternative. I love it because of its versatility as a tablet and a small computer. I love that the keyboard comes with it. Being $300, you would think it would feel really cheap, especially the keyboard. But it doesn't at all. The keyboard feels comfortable and nice to touch despite its smaller size. It seems to be pretty speedy and doesn't really have much lag to it. This isn't going to be as amazing as the highest end Chromebooks, but if you want something that is versatile, small, and still quite powerful despite its size, this is a great choice.

I like this little tablet fairly well. I think it's a good value for the money, but my expectations for it were merely for it to be a little larger version of my phone with a keyboard. Surf the Internet, play a few games etc. It fits that bill. My only complaint about it is that the speakers are anemic to the point of being practically inaudible. I wasn't expecting fantastic stereophonic sound, but it would be nice to be able to hear Duolingo without having to mute my TV.

I love this Chromebook. I love the 2-in-1 form factor, that's why I bought a Surface 3 four years ago. It works fine, but definitely showing its age. I mainly only used it as a web browser, so when I found this Chromebook, I fell in love! The weight of the device is amazingly light. The stand and keyboard add quite a bit of weight and bulk, but it's still fantastic. The keyboard doesn't do the tip-up like the Surfaces' keyboards do, but it's comfortable enough and protects the screen during carry. I could go on, but what you get for what you pay for... THIS IS AN AMAZING DEVICE!
