great concept with flawed execution

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great concept but going to have to return it 1. scrolling is laggy and jumps a bit 2. the device itself is very light, but the keyboard/kickstand double the weight. hard to use as tablet without removing keyboard 3. there is no way to type on the keyboard without it registering double inputs. constantly backspacing and passwords are a nightmare. 4. Some android apps, such as facebook, don't want to scale properly I really wanted to like this - especially the long term operating system updates that I could not get with a standard android tablet. Paying a 2x cost premium versus a standard android tablet, and not being able to type without errors, means it has to go back.

However, it is a frustrating device in terms of performance. Connecting a new bluetooth device is a major pain....it doesn't recognize devices easily. I had issues with my Galaxy buds and tried to reconnect, but it just never recognized it. I've not had that issue with my other devices. It doesn't register presses and swipes well...and I have to press multiple times. Speaker sound is very weak. So, decent device but frustrating. I wish now that I had just gotten an ipad.

It is much slower than the reviews lead me to believe, stalling on almost every third click. Apps often stop responding and have to close. The only exception to this is the Chrome browser. The absolute worst part of this device is that about 1 in 4 times I try to turn on the screen from sleeping, it will glow faintly blue, but won't actually turn on. I have to do a forced restart with the power button and then my Bluetooth mouse and keyboard often won't work and I have to restart a second time.
